According to Tech, he only reached out for the song "Welcome To My World" because he said he could hear Eminem on that track. Shady camp said it wasn't a good time, shit with the wifey, Proof's death, an extreme drug problem, etc. Eminem wasn't doing shit for a few years, for himself or for anybody. Tech said he hasn't even attempted to get him on a track again because no beat has said Eminem. Tech has not been ignored by Eminem.
No relevance? Pfffffft. Dude is the best selling artist (of any genre) in this last decade. Sounds pretty relevant. Relapse was a number one album, platinum. I'm sure Recovery will sell even better than that. "Not Afraid" is on almost every "relevant" radio station 50 times a day. Besides, I'm sure Tech doesn't want Em' on a track due to his relevance, he wants him on a track due to his skills.
I understand record sales aren't everything...
Tech sold 1 million independently, that's fucking awesome.
Even though Eminem had aid from the industry, he has sold almost 100 million records worldwide. I'm pretty sure he's the highest selling rap artist ever. If you don't count all the shit they put out after 'Pac died. No hating but, Tech dreams of that kind of success, as does every rapper.

Comparing them are like apples and oranges, some rappers are masters at rythem, song lyrically, some melodi (cali- baby). Why do you think tech wants to rap with eminem, cause tech knows eminem is a master at lyrics and respects and admires the hell out of it. Writers write, takes one to know one!! It's funny because some of you fans dilute techs product, when you say eminem isnt good, or lil wayne is shit... i see it all the time. you guys hate cause tech is your favorite rapper and you feel like you have to stick up for him but your just sticking up for your own ego's. Do you guys see how humble tech n9ne is??? emulate, listen to the words and get the point of it. Yes tech n9ne is my favorite rapper but it doesnt mean that i cant admire talent when i see it. Sickest in the game?
I understand we all have our bad days but... I'm an "amateur" compared to Wayne but I can freestyle better than that. And I don't freestyle, at all. Considering that wasn't actually a freestyle, I spit better writtens than that. I've done it drunk, I've done it high, I've done it tired, etc. I'm sorry but there's no excuse for something like that.
Lil' Wayne is slippin', plain and simple. I don't hate him 'cause I like Tech (who likes Wayne). That makes no fucking sense. Let Tech be humble, that's him. But as a rapper you're no longer allowed to be a fan. 'Cause if I blow up and I say "Nah I don't fuck with Wayne", people take that as beef. Nah, I just don't dig that style of hip-hop. Budden spoke about this in an interview a while back.
