Thanks for posting the link. Tech is right. I'm not surprised that this is why KC isn't on the tour. I need to buy 2 other albums myself. After I saw the dude live last year though, I wasn't leaving the show without a CD and some gear. I hope this gives him a renewed fire and some good material comes out of it. Hustle on hustler!

I see this shit all the time on twitter. For example when Damn Fool was gonna come out. Scoob was getting a bunch of "Can't wait for the album" message. I straight up told him "Most of these people are just blowing smoke up your ass. They'll probably just end up downloading it." Scoob agreed. When the video promoting the Hostile Takeover tour came out, and people saw that Kutt wasn't gonna be on, oh everyone was outraged. So i am glad Tech called out all these fucking fakes out. It's such shit, that when a Tech album comes out, the fans have enough money to buy 5 fucking copies, but when someone else on Strange drops an album, all of a sudden "Man, i wish i had the cash to get the album. FUCK OFF

I dont believe this Kutt aint on the tour for not sellin enough albums bullshit for one second. Krizz doesnt sell shit but hes on the tour. There is something else going on and anyone who believes that half ass excuse from tech is just being a tool. Fact is no strange artist does good numbers outside of tech. People may call me a hater but i dont give a fuck the bottom line IMO is that Tech is the only real elite artist on strange. I personally love the whole roster but the others just dont have the mass appeal as tech cause there not quite on tech level. They compliment him well but arent anywhere near as strong as solo artists. They have features all over tech albums since anghellic so its not like people dont known who they are. Yes we die hard tech fans can appreciate their talent but the other will never put up the numbers tech does. Do you all really think tech is still some underground secret? As has been pointed out if tech reason is legit it is still ass backward cause how do underground artists get exposure and move units? Uh gee by touring. Yall act like you think tech of all people doesnt understand this

Jason, Cognito left for pretty much that reason. What it was is that Cog put all that work into an album, only got about a month of marketing, only one single and then after another month SM was moving on from his work and he was expected to create more material for a new album. But there were still a few singles on Automatic that shouldve got love. Born to be Fly is one of them. Skatterman and Snug Brim is another example, from an interview I read a long time ago, "it was all about the red haired wonder" and they got tired of being put on the back burner. Dont blame them. I once thought that Krizz and Kutt were somewhat immune to album sales and whatnot since they were the orignal trio of strange back in its infantacy, they would never run into an issue of being cut from tours or dropped from the label. But Kutt not being on the tour only means that no one is safe there. Tech had a point with being mad on the Ustream that day and having a special fuck you shout out to those who dont support Kutt, but Tech designed the label to focus on HIM and most of his fanbase are TECH fans only. Remeber, keyword is MOST, not all. Now with all these acts he is signing, SM will have to transistion from being just techs label to an independant label that treats all acts as fair and importantly as Tech himself.  Otherwise this wont be the last time things like this occur.

Don't blame fans for not buying an album. Any album outside out tech's has not sold over 50k...so strange needs to look in mirror for marketing of their artists outside of tech n9ne.

I believe Cognito left the label for those reasons. Regardless going to support strange can't deny they make great music, more people should buy the albums or you need to reach out more when it comes to albums. I want to buy Rollin stone,paranormal,kickin' and screamin. Maybe they'll be breakthrough albums as well as mayday's take me to your leader as far as sales goes.

Anybody ever think that Kutt has been feeling more and more like he's living in Tech's shadow over the past few years, and that might have something to do with this? I wouldn't be surprised if friction is building between Tech/SM and Kutt over the fact that Strange Music more or less IS Tech N9ne. Tech seems to hint at that a bit, and Kutt's music has hit on that a few times, too.

So why would it seem unreasonable that Kutt didn't feel he was getting enough love, has a disagreement with Tech,and they decide to give him a smaller tour he can headline instead of a massive one he can be buried in?

Tech said on the SM Ustream today, and I'll quote it as I remember " Just to let everyone know, Kutt has a show in Denver tomorrow so I don't want to hear no shit. I want him to call and say that muthafucker was packed. Cuz If we were there, there'd be 4,000 people. I don't want him to say there was only 15. Go support your artist."

I'm curious to see how the turnout is for the show since everyone is complaining Kutt isn't on the Hostile Takeover Tour. Someone who is going fill us in.

This mind fuck bullshit is getting kinda old real quick. Ill never stop lovin tech music but tech aint makin no sense. I know for a fact that krizz solo shows dont do much better than kutt. I get it kutt dont have good record sales but no one other than tech does so why is kutty getting singled out like this

No one knows except Strange. I've always felt that BLH was singled out and now I think it's going to be Kutt too. We won't get a straight answer which really pisses me off.

so is kutt going on a official tour?...i dont live in CO anymore so I cant go to that show. I would go see kutty anywhere in michigan...he should tour with jay rock and Brotha Lynch....now that tour would be siiiiicc

When I watched the Ustream of Tech giving a Fuck You shout out to the fans on twitter trippin that the Kutty is not on tour because of no support, I thought to myself...wouldnt the fans that are trippin be the ones that do support Kutt? & the ones aint sayin shit or dont care be the ones that dont support?....I just thought it was a little harsh for Tech to just be like FUCK YOU!! to the Kutty's fans..... jus sayin!
