at the show in OKC last night tech mentioned that their are 2 versions of Welcome to Strangeland. The regular version that has 15tracks, and Best Buy will have a version that has 18 tracks. the 3 extra tracks will be on the CD it self and not downloadable like A6A7. He also mentioned that Best Buy did so well with A6A7 that they have already bought almost every WTSL album they had. Think thats about all he said about the album so i decided to pass along the info that i had. Really makes me wonder what kind of bonus tracks wll be on there.

Well if it did happen I would hope that they all would sign maybe like a page in the booklet vs. on just the front cover LOL.

not to mention is would be a clusterfuck of autographs lol
I don't think he gives a shit about anybody else's copy of the album, he just wants HIS copy to be signed by all the artists on Strange. And I'd say there's a decent chance of being able to get that done at a meet-and-greet. My copy of The Gates Mixed Plate is signed by everybody except Kutt and Brotha Lynch, because they weren't at the Best Buy release day session. Someday, I'll get theirs on there, though.

Nope, definitely 0%. He'd have to get everyone in one place to sign everything (which isnt easy since not everyone lives in the same place), they would all have to sign thousands of copies (which would take hella time and just isnt realistic), and fit all those signatures on one booklet (which would just look terrible). It's more than just "spending a little extra money"

More than. He could just spend a little extra money and try to meet all the artist and have them sign it.

But, Best Buy doesn't carry shit for CDs because less and less people are buying physical copies (if buying them at all), so they bring in what's going to leave the shelves the quickest for that particular location. And the warranty issues, that's usually beyond the individual you dealt with's control. Either goes much higher up than them, or with a completely different company.

Hey got a question too, so maybe someone can answer it. Since Welcome to Stangeland is an all and only Strange artists callabo, what do you all think the possibility would be of it being signed by every artist at Strange? I mean it would only make since right? Let me know what you guys think.
I'm thinking we should have a single by October 11th

Thief.

I think this will be the best collabos... have a feeling tech is gonna rip this shit

i still think the preorder is the best deal. still get a signed copy, and can just download the 3 bonus tracks

he wasnt talking about meet and greets. obviously anyone can get that done. he was talking about preorders having every signature on it from the start

-EDIT - you're right, second dude was talking about something completely different lol. My bad EMStaz. in that case, there is definitely a chance of getting everyone to sign it once you already have a copy, but it will probably be done in stages and not all at once
