exact audio copy is a program that rips the CD as a FLAC file so there's no quality loss.

each song will be like 40MB though, but its the highest quality possible rip from CD.

 

You could also use foobar2000, which is alot easier than EAC.

1) Pop in CD

2) Open Foobar2000

3) Click FILE >> OPEN AUDIO CD

4) Click RIP

5) At the bottom click "Proceed to converter setup dialog"

6) Click on OUTPUT FORMAT and choose FLAC in the list.

7) Click BACK at the bottom, and then click CONVERT.

looks complicated, but when the program is open, it literally takes about 30 seconds.
