Strange Music's New Sub-Label Strange Lane
REVEALED FROM BIG SCOOB'S BLOG:
"Even though Big Scoob has taken a short break from the spotlight, he hasn’t let up in his hustle. Recently, Scoob announced to fans over Twitter that he had been working on a verse for Young Bleed, who was recently confirmed by Tech N9ne to have signed with Strange Music. Young Bleed is said to be the first act signed to Strange Music’s subsidiary, Strange Lane. Scoob would go on to also confirm Young Bleed’s status with the label, leaving no more doubt from fans. Scoob has been known to be one of the sharpest MCs when it comes to guest features, and with Young Bleed expected to release new material soon, this could only lead to big things."
Very excited to see what they end up doing with Strange Lane and how many more acts may be able to shine through this! Your thoughts? Who would you like to see possibly signed to Strange Lane?

Ces Cru and JL should at least be on Strange Lane. and to the earlier comment about Prozak, if that allows him to release his album then fuck yes put him there. A downgrade but it's not like he's in good shape now smfh

Blind Fury maybe? He's shown interest in Strange Music and vice-versa seeing how he was featured on A6A7. He actually might be big enough at this point to boost Strange Lane into the public eye with all the work he's been doing on MTV and BET. It would probably be a good way to get the new sub-label some high ground to stand on. I haven't heard much from him besides his mixtape he released earlier this year but it wasn't bad, actually quite good minus the pointless battle clips. Definitely somebody worth looking into if you ask me.

I don't mind Sundae. She hasn't really put out enough material for me to make my opinion on her yet honestly. The features I've heard from her are all solid so far however. I wouldn't mind a female artist to sign with Strange but I'd probably rather have a woman who can both sing and rap. It makes her even that much more valuable as an asset to the label. Who knows if Sundae can sing? I doubt it simply because if she was a decent to great female vocalist she more than likely would have showcased it a bit by now. I'm open to hearing more Sundae projects but I think she needs to impress everyone a little bit more before she's even considered to be officially signed to Strange Music or Strange Lane.

I hate Sundae cause she's one of the worst "artists"(and that is a very loose interpretation of the word) I've ever had the displeasure of listening to. I can't stand her verses on Tech's shit and if they ever did sign her and she toured with them I would wait outside of the venue until she was done cause even at the bar there is no amount of alcohol that would make me listen to her. I may be biased cause I hate all girl rappers but there are some I find at least tollerable (though that doesnt mean I like it) but she is exceptionally terrible. Terrible voice, worse rhymes=why Sundae is one of if not the worst feature of any Tech cd.

i also would not mind at all if craig smith was on strange lane. i think hes got mad potential and a good work ethic. its like taking a young athetic player with a late lottery pick, itll pay off in a few years.
