All me bitching. VIP packages went up $25 each. Shirts went up $5 each. You released EP's "so the fans had music to hold them over". When the real reason was to make some extra money because some of those EP's were straight garbage. You guys seem to be getting a little money hungry. Strange Music might be getting more well known and richer but most of us fans aren't. End vent

i was saying the ep's were all about money when they starting dropping late summer. i still havent bought an ep because its not worth the money to me and the content isn't all that great (imo) I will buy Lp's all day because it seems like the material is waaay better.

You can tell they were all about money because  for example  stone, krizz just released  lp's  there was no need for an ep that soon from them. I would much rather get an LP a year than have a bunch of material wasted on an ep....

The only exception would be mixtapes.

EP's are definitely about the money now. Tech originally put out his KOD EP's because of extra beats and ideas that he had.  Krizz eventually put SIC out and that was that. Nothing serious. But when Tech put out Klusterfuk and sold roughly 20,000 copies with little to no promotion, that's when they realized they could capitalize on the EP's. Now almost every artist is releasing an album + EP a year, pretty sure Rittz said that was part of his contract/deal.

But meh, I don't buy the EP's anyway. Mixtapes are a good idea though. Like if Tech released EBAH & Boiling Points as a free mixtape to hold us over, people wouldn't be so upset with the quality 'cause it's "just a mixtape". If they use in-house production through Seven & Plex and use the mixtapes to promote albums, instead of bullshit EP's months before/after an LP release, I see it as win-win. Buuuuuuuuut I'm also not running a multi-million dollar record label, so I guess I'll leave the business to them. Seems just a tad bit greedy but, that's business.

that's why i ONLY buy stuff from Strange's online store during sales. Shit's way too expensive

same here

No.

Dude I've been a fan of Tech since way the fuck back when and I was one of the first people in line for the Anghellic release party at 7th Heaven and seriously this is the first time I've ever seen them raise prices on a t shirt.

Even when they had like literally two shirts available they have always been 20 bucks and now they're 25. If you look around on other artists merch its usually around 25 bucks a t shirt too so I really don't think there's any reason to be upset. This is not an uncommon or outrageous price point at all. You're reacting like a spoiled brat.

My biggest beef is i like supporting strange and bought all eps last year and agree glad to get one good song off those but then to throw all them in the VIP package sucks becasue now half my vip package i already own

Then why buy the VIP package lol

yep, said this already; they're money hungry as fuck

Ohh I hope the shipping isn't $45 dollars to Australia like last Christmas. I will now only buy albums from the store to just get it signed, but no other merchandise as the shipping will be rediculously high

Prices in the store are relatively cheap. And even tho, its artist merch, most of it is not plastered with their faces all over them (as in, real pictures just printed on). So the merch is tasteful, shit you can wear without actually lookin like a ^S^ advertisement. I can name brands much much more expensive and yall fucking complaining about a couple of dollars. Shit man, how old are these people? Cuz I can't see how you can't spend a couple more bucks on the merch, unless you're 14 and have no job. Then those 4-5 bucks can seem like a fucking fortune, I'm sure.

End vent.
