All me bitching. VIP packages went up $25 each. Shirts went up $5 each. You released EP's "so the fans had music to hold them over". When the real reason was to make some extra money because some of those EP's were straight garbage. You guys seem to be getting a little money hungry. Strange Music might be getting more well known and richer but most of us fans aren't. End vent

The Strange mercandise sucks as far as the clothes go. Shit looks cheap and tacky and it's def NOT worth the price they originally wanted because the quality ain't fucking there, and they raised the price?? Uhh ok. Seems greedy to me, I don't care I don't rock that shit. I went and had a Lynch shirt custom airbrushed and signed.
The VIP's went up? Well that's expected seeing as the all around cost of fucking everything has jumped since Obama took office.
And yeah the EP's were a great idea at first for the die hard fans like myself. But no one is a die hard fan of 90% of the guys doin EP's now and they know it. It's just an extra outlet.
And the die hard fans got fucked with Klusterfuck and EBAH. That was greed.
All in all I can see the reason for a few things to go up but for the most part it's just Strange blowin up and selling out like every other label that gets famous. They say hey we can do this, so they do.
And for any dick Ridin backpacking obsessed Strange lover about to come in with a cape on his back trying to stick up for the bullshit just can it before you do.

Maybe it's just me but I like the quality of the shirts. I don't like them that much.

I've been supporting them for a while now. buying most of the albums (the ones I wasn't sure of/didn't feel I needed as much, i listened to a few songs and decided), but I bought every EP that was released. Tech's first two were great and they were to use a few great beats and allow him to vent out some more from the same mindset as KOD, and that was great. Krizz's was alright. I liked a few songs on it, and same goes for Kutt and Scoob's EPs, but, after that, I think it turned into trying to get more releases in for no reason. I think Tech had the best ones in 2012 and I liked about half the songs on each and there were a few great, amazing songs on them. Mayday's was okay, but I'm not particularly a fan of them always. CES Crus's was great and necessary. They've gone a while since a release aside from their mixtapes (which are great) and they had to demonstrate to people who don't know them, what they are like and the EP showed their range well. It was probably my favorite aside from Boiling Points. I'm a huge Krizz fan, but I only really liked "Damages" on his this year, and didn't even like Prozak's or Kutt's, despite really liking both of them. Stevie is a great guy and has done some beautiful songs, but that EP was all of the stuff he does that I don't like and I thought he was trying to ease back with. Instead, it was almost the same beat and subject for like 6 songs.

The VIP packages went up, yeah, because the value of it all went up. The blew up and that is great, and I'm glad, but it seems like they're going about some things odd still. Signing CES and having a few songs mention it, are the only acknowledging they do to KC, which they really used to be all about and had such pride in. Expanding is great, but they seem to be leaning away from standing by being based in Kanses City it seems. I'll still support the hell out of them and am proud to, but they do things sometimes I don't get. The shirt prices probably are a mix of cost and raising them themselves I think. Even if its only a few dollars. A few posters are nice, but I've gotten most of the ones I want. And there have only been a few shirts that looked good. One Krizz one I liked got sold out. i have a few and I can never find any more new ones I really even like anyway. So, their sales now don't really even phase it, as sad as it is.

When I bought a Strange shirt from the Absolute Power tour it was heavy and quality. When I got my last shirt with a pre order it was thin and fit small. And the styles are just kind of..I dunno below average. I like quality. So while everyone is goin Diamond Supply, I go up a notch for Pink Dolphin. I don't go down for Southpole and that's what it all reminds me if is like some Southpole shit. And I don't want to come off spoiled. Who else merchandises like Strange? But when you have the best rappers under one roof why not have the best of everything else too?
Fuck it, I'll take dope rappers and crappy clothes over crappy rappers with cool clothes.

One of the reasons I get merch from the shows is the discounted price. All lps are like 10 bucks and eps are 5, right? Hopefully that hasnt changed. At Strange shows the shirts have always been a solid 20. I went to an ICP show and they wanted 25 a shirt and I was like fuck that. It is absolutely money grubbing on Psychopathics part, they seem to fleece their fans at every opportunity. I just hoped for better from Strange.
What does it cost to manufacture a shirt anyway?

Strange and psychopathic are money hungry. But psy has a much much more merch than strange, just not as many quality artists as strange.

Then clearly for you, the meet and greet is worth buying things youve already bought before. If it was me, I would skip meeting the artists if I had everything useful from the VIP package. So stop complaining.

I agree to the fullest. I won't be buying any more merchandise from Strange unless they're doing a half off sale, and even then..I probably won't be buying much.
