Strange Music goin' down... What d'y'all think ?
Okay, first of all, if you don't agree with what I say, don't hate okay ? This is just my opinion.
I'm not an old day listener like most of you guys, I started listenin' to Tech when he released Sickology 101. Then I listened to most of his past albums : Anghellic, AP, Everready, Killer, MLK, and every shit he's been puttin' out after. Then I heard about Krizz and Kutt, and I listened to Vitiligo and Feature Presentation, and LOVED it. Then Big Scoob, Brotha Lynch, etc...
Now what I mean is that recently, I feel a real change amongst the three "main" artists of Strange. I mean, for most of people, Tech is selling out, plus the recent announcement of the song with Wayne, the pic with Waka Floka, the Kabosh turnin' into a Detox... A lot of people say Tech is goin' mainstream.
About Krizz, I loved Vitiligo, really. Then I listened to Genius. Something different, but I still liked it. Thing is, I feel like Kali is gettin' a big head. I read his interviews, saw some Ustreams, and I'm seeing the guy is clamin' to be the King of Pop ? Dude ain't got no imagination. King Of Pop is MJ, everyone knows that. So the guy is putting himself at the level of MJ... C'mon... And the guy sayin' "Stripper Dance" (I think the song is called like that) will definitely be the best stripper anthem in the world ? Come on... And recently the sampler of Shock Treatment... Damn... This is garbage to my opinion. And I saw a lot of people who agreed. I heard about autotuned shit, pop shit... Damn...
And Kutt, I feel like he's the third wheel for the two others. He's getting more and more apart. He wasn't even aware of the last Ustream at XXL (now some people will say he was busy and I don't know, only thing I know is he's always apart), and with his song "Calling My Name", I don't feel like he's really motivated to rap anymore...
What do y'all think about it ? I know we're supposed to support our artists, and I will, but, am I the only one who feel like there's been a sudden change in Strange Music ?

I dont know about Kali claiming the King of Pop, Ive heard him say the King of Hip-Pop before tho. I feel If he wants to claim a genre that hasnt even been created by all means he should be able to.lol Kali is extremely talented and has earned his dues. With the life he has had he deserves for his head to swell a little if thats what you think is happening. I personally have never met more humble artist who love their fans to do the things these guys do.
As far as Kutt goes....Well people like you who talk about him and say he is loosing interest in rapping or is loosing his focus are the problem. He is ultra talented and is trying to reach out to you guys as an artist but because he isnt exactly as "strange" as you would like you are rejecting him and his music.
All I gotta say is get the sicle out your mouths! Either support or step! Its that easy, and as far as Strange going mainstream God I hope so it would be so nice to have some talent back on the radio.

First off i agree Strange is declining but Tech isn't selling out Lil' Wayne wanted to collab with Tech not the other way around and so what if he took a pic with wocka flocka doesn't mean shit he kicked it with drake you going to hang him for that i don't think so. Second, i liked TGMP, i mean it wasn't his best but i liked it with the exception of Afterparty Doin It and Pu Wah Wah but everyone has their own opinion. Third, Tech writes his life AP was when he was on Ecstacy so he wrote about how his life was on drugs, K.O.D. was sad because his mom, so AP really wasn't meant to be a dark cd and Tech is going to write his life if he stuck on one subject he would be like any other rapper. Fourth, I've never really been into Kali's solo shit but Shock Treatment seemed like garbage and he said King of Hip-Pop not pop . Fourth, I loved Kutt's album it was the shit i dont blame him for not being motivated to rap anymore they treat him like a nobody because everyone's focused on Tech so quit dlin his shit and he will be motivated

On TGMP, it was just a collabo album. You can't tell me his other collabos are his best work so chill lol. Remember K.O.D. Wasn't even released a year ago! Have faith in Tech on bringing it. Kali has his own style of what he wants to do so let him. You don't have to buy it, I won't be myself. Kutty Cal is the shit, let's make sure he knows that by telling him at shows and going crazy for his songs. "I will never let you down" -Tech...trust the man

U made some good points but u have to grow as an artist.....Tech N9ne wouldnt be Tech N9ne if he wasnt the KING CLOWN and G....if he was the G all the time he wouldnt have as big of a following as he does..Being an Independent artist is a hard thing to do because everything is coming out of your pocket....plus its your ideas and not a guy behind a big chair telling u to rap about selling drugs and fucking hoes all day... thats why rap isnt selling....its the same shit over and over.....the whole thing with Kutt....thats a hard subject to talk about.....When u go to the concert who do u wanna see.....TECH N9NE....even tho they are apart of the show its Tech's show. U may love them but u dont scream Kutt u scream TECH....u might buy his album but not like u would Tech's....thats why he goes off in his song "Calling My Name" because u try to treat them like a group instead of solo artist because there ALWAYS TOGETHER ON STAGE....on another topic...this whole Wayne thing is going to bring alot of problems.....yeah its going to get him more know but he's true fans arent gonna wanna be around DICK RIDING LIL WAYNE FANS thinking they know TECH after 1 song or a mixtape.....I hope it works out but Juggalos are loyal and dont like change so hope TECH can pay for WAYYYY MORE SECURITY CUZ ITS GONNA BE MORE TILA SITUATIONS IN THE FUTURE WITHIN THE CROWD.....but with that being said me personally IMA ALWAYS KEEP IT STRANGE AND BANG ALL DAY ALL NIGHT

I agree i support Tech fully no matter what he does i also support every other Strange artist. I personally like TGMP yeah it wasnt as good as Sickology 101 or MLK but after listening to it all around for awhile its a good album...I also cant wait for Shock Treatment already pre ordered it and listened to it I personally think its a good album and im hoping that some of the negative feedback on it goes away. In My Dreams is probably one of the best collabs Strange has done...As for All 6's and 7's i think that album will be amazing...That being said support Tech and Strange all day......btw anyone know why Cognito wasnt on Raw and Un-Kutt, TGMP, or Shock Treatment??

Let him work with Wayne, let him become famous.. its what he's always wanted, for his music to be known worlwide. Exactly its because hes of his great flow and lyrics, and since i didnt say anything about the Wayne situation heres how i stand...I think Tech should be able to do a song with whoever he chooses doesnt matter if its Wayne, Eminem, or whatever. People say that he shouldnt collab with mainstream look at the mainstream artists he has done tracks with Ice Cube, Shawnna of DTP, E-40, Jay Rock, Glasses Malone, Devin The Dude, Scarface...Personally Tech should do some more mainstream collabs i'd like to see one with Snoop, Nas, more Bone Thugs

Personally I have absolutely no problem with Tech "going to the light" or trying to reach new people.... I don't care about the whole Lil Wayne and WFF situation either (I listen to Wayne and his shit is dope).... but the thing I have a problem with is the quality of the music lately, I understand Tech is trying to get away from the darkness n shit.. but ATLEAST make it sound good. Everready was amazing... Sickology was dope... I still liked TGMP but it was a huge let down for me and I believe Tech could do so much better. Although Techs verses were great... the beats were mediocre, the hooks sucked, and the album as a whole just sounded rushed and uncreative. As far as Shock Treatment goes..... for a "mainstream" sound this album is terrible IMO.... I would probably rather listen to the radio than what Shock Treatment has to offer.
However, I'm expecting All 6's And 7's to blow me the fuck away, Everready quality... but if the music is on par with TGMP and Shock Treatment, then wellllllll don't expect to go anywhere past this point, Tech. Sorry n shit!
