Strange Music is proud to announce the newest addition to its roster – Stevie Stone. Best known to Tech N9ne fans from his performances on the K.O.D. Tour, as well as the standout track “Midwest Explosion” that featured Tech, Stevie Stone proudly carries the torch for Midwest rap. “I’m home” Stone said when asked about how it feels to be signed with Strange, “It’s something I’ve been wanting for a long time – it feels like it was destined to happen. It’s a testimony that if you believe in something, work hard at something, that dreams can come true”. With an instantly recognizable voice, energetic stage show and impressive lyrical skills, Stevie Stone and Fly Moves Productions definitely found a fitting home with Strange Music. There are definitely big things in the future for Stevie Stone and his crew.

Stevie Stone was on strange long before he signed those papers. He probably hated being on ruthless. This is good it's official now and he can be on the team he wants to be on.
Oh snap. Good sign
They say in the video that the date is March 17th, so they signed him two weeks ago.

Yeah either way I was just saying you could tell he wanted no part of ruthless and he made too many appearances on Strange music's album like cognito's album, krizz's album,a few songs on the gates mixed plate with tech. Of course he was on tour with them. I don't know why they waited two weeks to announce the signing. You could just tell he wanted no part of ruthless and that he was strictly strange way before even that date.

It's cool he is signed and all but what was up the "Signing Freeze" they were on?

bout god damn time.

now all they needa sign is Irv and Hopsin.

They said they were already working on deals prior to the freeze that they would finish, but who knows what they could mean by that. With Stone the strange roster is pretty full, the only other person I see signing anytime soon is Irv.

I withdraw half of my previous statement. I am still bored by Jay Rock, but I downloaded all 4 stone mixtapes and I'm looking forward to his Strange debut. I think he will be a good addition to the label. I particularly liked mixtapes 3 and 4, but I still haven't heard everything yet.
With all due respect to the man no way Irv Da Phenom should get a deal...if anyone should be signed to Strange Music, it needs to be Nesto The Owner or Craig Motherfucking Smith...Irv is a hook man, much like Nate Dogg.  Yeah, he's got a few good songs out there but he's mainly known for his hooks.  Spend the time and money on an artist that can add something to your roster.  Nesto is a beast lyrically and would fit in with Kutt as the "gangstas" of Strange (similar to Skat & Snug), while Craig Smith adds a little flash to the team and can still flow like no one on the label.

But Jay Rock is focused on his shit in Cali (TDE). Nesto is here, living in Kansas and has already been featured with Kutt and Tech.  His last album Manimal, was crazy as fuck.  Shit, you could even team Nesto and Stone together and make some great music.  They have two very unique voices and they can FLOW!  If you haven't heard Manimal, go pick it up now.  Nesto's brother Everritt is a great producer as well and could add some beats to Strange Music.
