Confirmed by Tech:

What do y'all think?
I think it's long overdue.
Wrek, Bernz, Kali, Kutt, Godemis, Ubi, Prozak, Scoob, Jay Rock, Stone, Lynch & Tech ALL on the same song? I love it. (hopefully we'll have all of them present, though)
EDIT:
Since Cypher's usually a DJ providing the beat (and Strange doesn't have a DJ) maybe a producer-collab is in order between Mayday and Seven? Then it would truly be a Strange Cypher. Thoughts?
Permalink Reply by Bizzaro on June 14, 2012 at 3:48pm have you ever heard of guys like doseone P.E.A.C.E eyedea?....they can spit just as fast and freestyle....and its actualy off the dome. at least write a verse that isnt gonna be anywhere else. seems fake to me. but o well as long as the musics good. just wish he would stop labeling writtens as freestyles....cuz thats just as whack as canibus pulling out a notebook in his battle with dizaster

LOL. I feel the same way. I love Tech as a rapper but honestly sometimes I wonder if he even really can freestyle. He's been rapping so long that Im sure he has bars in his head that he's never recorded before but like you said every time Ive ever seen someone interview him and as for a freestyle, not to mention the BET cypher, he just spits a pre-written verse from some song. Maybe he just does it so he can do his fast spit stuff which would be pretty hard to come with off the top but if thats the case I wish he would have chose a better verse for the BET cypher.
Bizzaro said:I hope they actually freestyle if there gonna call it a cypher....if not its not a cypher....only thing that irks me bout tech...all his freestyles are written verses that havent dropped. kinda whack if you ask me.
Permalink Reply by RL98 on June 14, 2012 at 3:59pm uh...Tech has never had a problem saying he doesn't freestyle. He's mentioned it in interviews before not to mention all those cyphers from BET and others are pre-writtens, regardless of if you've heard those rhymes before.
Before anyone takes what I said out of context, no I did not say ALL cyphers in general are like that. I'm completely aware of cyphers pre-tv fame.

Permalink Reply by Kevin on June 14, 2012 at 7:11pm Well if Stevie Stone has a DJ that's a good idea. DJ Chill would be better but apparently he isn't around anymore.

I don't think anyone in recent BET cypher history has freestyled. you can tell.

Permalink Reply by Techn9cian4life on June 14, 2012 at 8:02pm DJ Picaso is Stevie Stone's DJ. So if they were to have a DJ, wouldnt be surprised if he was the one to do it.
