Simple and Fact, Strange Music does not support any artist like Tech N9ne. In my opinion, Tech should get the least marketing out of any artist on strange music or strange lane for that matter. Tech will always putt out great music and will have a avid fan base because he is already known. He needs to start acting more like a CEO of a company and make better calls. And finally when the mainstream is looking in and you have more new fans more than ever, Kutt won't be on tour? That is a stupid decision by Travis O Guin, Tech N9ne and Dave Weiner.

Oh no, you dun fucked up son. Tech's comin to yell at you now.

i already watched this shit, and i felt the same before this came out. I'm not here to talk about how much i have supported Kutt, even though i have all his albums, his mixtape, merchandise, etc...it still does not deny the fact that Strange Music does put their artists on top. Why do you think Skatterman and Snug Brim left, Cognito?

I think your message should say the fans do not support the other strange music artist like they do Tech. To me that's a little more accurate. The bigger an artist gets, the bigger the marketing gets. That's just the way it is.

A lot can be done by the artists themselves hut stevie stone is the only one I see posting on here once in a blue moon
They need to become more active

Exactly. I think Mayday are the only ones to realize this. They're always dropping new tracks, videos, freestyles, ect. And they actually reply to fans on Facebook and Twitter. A lot can be done by self promotion.

I agree and disagree on both sides. Personally all the fans need to quit bitchin' Kutty's on another tour with Irv and shit, personally I have his albums and love him, and didn't get all of it because he was "advertised" the right way, I listened to him, I loved it, I bought it. Simple as pie, however the money he makes goes to him and back into his music, so if he doesn't have all the fans financial support, he doesn't have the money to be advertised the right way. Mayday already had paper before signing to strange so they just were already doin' it themselves. Fans need to support their artist, so the artist can support himself and make quality music and gain more fans  = circle of music. If you don't buy any shit from any other artist on strange, you don't deserve to bitch about it, I have bought most albums from strange, Kutt, Kali, Tech, Scoobie, Cog, Lynch, when mayday drops their I'll cop it, when Stevie drops his I'll cop it, same with Ces and shit...so...TL;DR If you aren't buyin' their shit don't fucking speak.

Strange Music is signing too many artists in my opinion, sure they're an attractive label that offers more freedom for marketing and touring than any major label but they signed more than they can handle. What happened to Jay Rock? His debut release did horrible numbers, he should of stayed with Warner Bros. Big Scoob is done, Prozak and Stevie are a waste of time. Focus on Lynch, Krizz, Kutt, and Mayday Mr. Travis! Even though Tech says he's Exec, he's obviously not, muthafucka is still hungry and releases more EPs and LPs than his label mates. But that's Tech I always loved his hard work ethic, but don't call yourself an Exec when all you do is announce the signings in your little 1 minute-30 second videos, focus on you and continue to make the mainstream go Tech (its almost there!) Ces Cru was an ok sign, I think Tech is their biggest fan lol But seriously at the end of the day they are still an underground independent label (#1 in the world blah blah blah) You have the talent, focus on the above mentioned artists and quit signing mediocre rappers!

I'd say Stevie and Jay Rock are FAR from a waste of time. I disagree with most of this post.

I'd say that SM has definitely signed quite a few artists lately. With that being said, though, I'd imagine it'd make it easier to get collabs, tours set up, draw in more fans for the label (which then may translate to more fans for labelmates), etc.

Big Scoob, from what I hear, is putting more material together. Or so I thought. That seems far from done to me. Prozak and Stevie Stone are two artists that I'm definitely looking forward to hearing from, so I would strongly disagree with THAT statement.

Tech IS an executive. You think that all he does is come in and announce the signings? Are you behind the scenes? Do you know what sort of work he puts into the label? If you don't have any idea, I wouldn't say a damn thing about it.

Tech, to me, is focusing more on the label than his own music these days. He's still pumping out songs, but they just don't seem like they're as quality, to me, as they used to be. More tours, more artists, more products, more promos, more videos, etc. but not better music.
