Basically congress is trying to pass the SOPA Act to censor the internet. Sites like wikipedia already blacked themselves out to protest. Check out the video.

Yeah this thing blows, but its not going to pass.

Already contacted a Senator and House Rep in my state earlier via Twitter & Email and went to one of those links that signs a petition to Congress. People need to wake up after Obama signed NDAA. In all seriousness these are the baby steps to a totalitarian gov't.

Wikipedia also blacked out their entire site last night to boost awareness of these retarded bills and the potential repercussions if they are passed. I suggest everyone signs the petition even if you feel it will make little difference. Single whispers are hard to hear but a united shout draws attention in any fashion. Google also links you to a directory after digitally signing that literally looks up the addresses and phone numbers of your local senators as to protest and take action. I don't think our government has a clue of the consequences they will be facing if these faulty bills go through. Look what transpired last year in Egypt. The only difference? More citizens with an abundance of firepower.
