Haven't really heard too much about it, doesn't seem like Strange is promoting it nowhere near as much as they did with Mayday's 'Take Me To Your Leader', Prozak's 'Paranormal' and Krizz Kalikos 'Kickin' and Screamin' and it's just about only a month away from release. You'd figure we'd have a new song out for it or something by now. TBH I thought they were gonna let us a get another taste of it the day Paranormal dropped buuuuuut nope, who knows they'll probably drop something between now and Krizz' album or at least on the same day as his.......hopefully

Right, yea I get everything you're saying with those other artists doing it on their own and the ways they're doin it. And it sounds like a lil bit when you put it that way bout SS (1 song and 2 videos) but all of it was for just that one song
, 'Get Buck'. Idk I just thought they would've released at least another song by now or a snippet or something but yea I was sayin' the same thing bout them probably doin' something for it within these next 2 weeks or the day Krizz' shit drops.....if not by then, then something's wrong with that picture ha All in all, I agree with everything you've said. At least you're not trying be a douche about things like some people on this site, good look

Stevie Stone isn't getting as much promotion because he didn't choose to go do a teaser video for almost every song off of his album, he also didn't choose to direct 7 music videos for his album, those were both choices and ideas (I'm sure) that came from Kaliko and Prozak respectively as opposed to Travis or Tech saying "Yo, since you're more likely to pull bigger numbers, let's have like 5+ videos for you guys' 'n ¡Mayday!'s albums 'n we'll just half-ass Stone's hype". If Stone wanted to go out 'n make 14 videos then could we turn around 'n say ¡Mayday! didn't get enough promotion from Strange? No, because the label only does so much and the rest falls under the artist's responsibility/option to spend extra time and effort into more videos. All three of those artists for the most part had a huge role in handling their own promotion with these music videos to my knowledge. I'm pretty sure Badlands was the only video from TMTYL that Strange Music's YT channel posted so you could argue Strange has already done more to promote Stevie Stone's album video-wise (Get Buck snippet and the HQ video) whereas all of ¡Mayday!'s videos are on their own channel (which is odd considering Strange uploaded Ces' videos for Ubi's 'n Godemis' MIXTAPES even though L9 didn't produce their vids, that was my first guess for only uploading Badlands and not the other tracks, but I'm sure it's because, duh, Tech's on it, but that still doesn't explain why Ces got their videos uploaded 'n not ¡Mayday!, ohh well, not the important topic here). ¡Mayday! and Prozak are known for directing and releasing videos on their own accord, Kaliko chose to take that route this go around with these previews. 'N it's not even May yet and we have 1 song and 2 videos for SS, once pre-orders go up we'll have another song. Unless you're doing 6,7,8+ videos it's not like u can drop something every week if you want to promote the album over a long period of time. 'N Stevie Stone's been on Yowie 'n Ustream(?) at least once since being on tour so I'd say his promotion is fine as it is atm. Wait 'til Kaliko's album drops 'n then Stone will have all the attention on him, (assuming Tech doesn't start hyping his next album or Lynch and depending on when he releases the video for "The Noose".)

There is a video for rollin stone. they played it in Chico on Friday night

Yeah, I'm sure the pre-order will be up between now 'n when K&S drops so we'll probably see more from Stevie Stone within the coming weeks/month, didn't Tech say he had like 1 or 2 videos with Stevie? so we've definitely got more on the way, we just gotta be a little patient, I mean Strange is putting out 5 projects in a 3 month span (3/13-6/12), not including Ces' and Big Scoob's mixtapes, they've obviously got a lot on their plate

Why is everyone here (except the OP - Edward Jay Blanch Jr.) pretending like Stevie Stone is gonna get ANY promotion from SM? Taking their track record into account...I think it's safe to assume we all know exactly what's gonna happen to SS and his Strange Music tenure.

If you all wanna pretend SM gives a fuck about its artists outside of Tech/Krizz/Kutt/¡MAYDAY!/Prozak - I ask for PROOF, not your fucking opinion.

Sorry guys, I forgot...this is a message board. We substitute opinions for fact here. My bad.

well, I already said that Strange decided to upload both Ubi and Godemis' videos from their solo mixtapes (key word, mixtapes) something they've never done before, but you're probably right, I mean, it's not like people change or anything, especially after their fans made a huge thread sharing their grievances about Strange's promotion, but you're probably right doe. Also, as I said, Strange already has 2 videos for Stevie Stone atm, 'n if I remember correctly Stevie Stone was the first artist after Tech N9ne to do one of those 30 second teaser videos, so, I'd say, although I see where you're trying to come from, ultimately, you're wrong. Is Tech gonna get the most promotion? of course, that goes without saying, but to say no promotion? And of course, pick the artists (4 of the 5) that have new shit that either just came out or is in less than a month. Of course the artist whose promotion we're questioning is the one who's album releases after all the others. I could go on, but I won't. Will Stevie Stone get the least promotion out of all those names? yeah, but none?

I think him being on the tour is a big promotional tour. Not to mention street teams will have posters and stuff to hand out to promote him. The same as any strange music album

If you think Stevie Stone's tenure on SM will be short lived because of the promotion he gets, you're an idiot.

Haha I don't know, I just feel as if he's kinda goin' the same route as Cognito and we all see what happened to him. Although it seems like fans fuck with Stone a lot more though so we shall see, only time will tell. Hopefully not cuz I gets down with SS (and Cognito too, Spoiled Milk needs to drop soon too damnit) I'm gettin' anxious for all these releases comin' up

The reason it hasnt been promoted as much was because Paranormal was coming out and getting all the promotion. Next up is Kicking and Screaming. Then they will start promoting Stevie's album. To sell as many units as they can they are gonna hype the album that is next in line, while still putting out teasers for the ones coming later on, like the Get Buck video. Whatever, it dont matter. I cant wait for SM thats all I know.

Stevie announced today on twitter that there is some big big news comin up sooner than we think. So I'm assuming the pre order. Then it will be time for strange/stevie to start promoting.
