but i could be wrong.

The good thing is EPs are still coming out and I will keep buying the ones I want until they stop selling em. But I will not download for free, the ones that I don't like. When did I state you dont like the products as a whole?? The only point I tried to make was downloading the shit for free isn't how it should be done. I agree with you on E.B.A.H, but the songs I liked I pay for. Im all for standing up for what you believe in, but if you believe that theft is how you go about it then this "Young Man" will never get it.

Permalink Reply by NZTechN9ne on September 25, 2012 at 11:49pm Every single song. Not one borrowed, stolen or even given to a friend. May seem odd to all you young pups out there but where im from you pay a man for his hard work. No more talk on the matter, its clear to me that downloading songs for free is just natural to you. If you meet Tech at a VIP M&G you might as well shit on his face.

All joking aside I think it's funny how you first say, "Im sorry but I dont get the logic in what you are saying" and then follow it up with, "I know what free market is" after it's logic was thoroughly explained to you. We've already went out of our way to get it through your skull, if your mind is still unable to truly grasp it at that point then I apologize. Your example makes absolutely no sense when you pay $100 to $130 for a VIP meet and greet. So how would I be shitting on his face at that point? Because in that instance I've just put more money in his pocket than I would have if I bought a below average $10 EP. You're one to speak of anyone's logic when your's is obviously as narrow-minded as they come lol. SMFH

Permalink Reply by NZTechN9ne on September 26, 2012 at 3:04am Free market doesn't mean go out and steal. Thats the logic that I couldn't understand. round n round n round.... doesnt matter how you put it, its theft.
Permalink Reply by θάνατος εις Πεφωτισμένων ʘ on September 26, 2012 at 3:55am By your own words you admitted beforehand you didn't understand the logic of downloading their EP's for free instead of purchasing them which would greatly affect the sales report come time to measure out the ratio of profit to spending costs, rendering Strange Music to remold their currently failing infrastructure. So we explained the theology of free market to you and now that you've been caught in the light of your own contradiction you narrow your misunderstanding down to solely music piracy. Listen, I'm not here to evaluate your morals when it comes to digital file sharing, to each their own on the matter. You can't sit here and expect a majority of people to agree with you though as the U.S. economy (I'm aware you're from N.Z.) is and has been in a crisis for quite some time and more often than not I would expect anybody to pay for their living necessities before they purchase any form of personal entertainment. I will go out on a limb and splurge to buy albums in which I know for a fact will be worth my dollar. This can be determined by listening to the project's singles, the features/track-listing, contributing producers, and overall estimated replay value. Personally I haven't deemed any of the recent EP's, with the exception of Thrift Store Halos (which I did purchase through iTunes), up to those standards. Does this mean I should miss out entirely on the remaining material that in the long run won't be worth bending my budget for? Not in my opinion it doesn't. I download free music from a variety of artists in all genres, along with 90% or more of the world's population. I'm all about supporting your favorite artists' material if it lives up to the standard that it's intended to. Once the bar has been lowered and I notice a pattern of mediocre to decent releases in order to turn profit, then why should I categorize those projects any differently than any other album I refuse to spend a nickel on? The answer is... I shouldn't.

Or we can simply download the EP's for free and continue to do so until Strange Music realizes that we're tired of paying over $10 per month after shipping and handling for mediocre, decent at best, projects that usually only carry 5 to 7 actual songs.
