Or we can simply download the EP's for free and continue to do so until Strange Music realizes that we're tired of paying over $10 per month after shipping and handling for mediocre, decent at best, projects that usually only carry 5 to 7 actual songs. In the long run they'll realize that it's costing them more money to create the EP's than their profit's reflecting and they can get back to focusing on full length LP's for each artist/act. If they truly were creating these EP's to provide the fans with extra music instead of a quick cash-in then why wouldn't they increase the track limit for each project and release them as mixtapes? God forbid they give the fans who've helped them reach the level of success they've achieved any free music at all! I mean that's just absurd right? LOL

I can't believe people are bitching about hard copies. Hey if you don't want it on a CD, go to amazon or i tunes and download that shit, shit is available for download. But some of us are old school and I love the fact Strange is putting out hard copies. So let's have some options in life.

1. the artwork is super lame lol

2. i agree they need to put something else besides the sticker with the preorders. i had a big decal before they started giving these ones away, so i just have a stack of them in the corner of my room.

3.way too many EP's. and i think they are gunna stop selling soon. i know that i'm not buying the Ep's if they are gunna release fucking 10 in a row. Too much money, not enough music, and not good music either. i mostly aim the "not good music" at tech. thrift store halos, red headed stepchild, and 13 were good. but they weren't phenominal, that's what i expect from an EP. While klusterfuk and E.B.A.H. blew cock compared to those 3. After i heard the singles from EBAH i decided not to buy it, and i probably won't buy any other EP's for a while because of how many in a row i've wasted money on (unless maybe mayday or krizz kaliko, because their albums were so good).

If you dont want it dont buy it, nuf said.  Ill spend $10 on a strange EP over anything else in the store.

YES SUR !!!

Im sorry but I dont get the logic in what you are saying.  We should steal from Strange Music in order to stop them making profits off EP's, which in turn will help them realize that they are not making a profit off of them?  Stoopid.

If you don't like it then don't even download it for free.  Granted EP's aren't for everyone, but since when did that give us the right to steal the music they have worked hard on? Not Never.  I don't like Prozak, so i didn't buy his album. But other people like him, so they did.  They offer something for everyone and its our right as free people to choose to buy it or not.  But its not our right to download the music for free just because you don't like the business model.

The logic is called free market. When you use a system that fails, the people will tell you by not supporting it. We, as the consumers, have the right to say "hey, this is bullshit!" I like Stevie Stone as an artist, I like Tech as an artist, but if I don't like E.B.A.H. I'm not buying it. 'n If they see that EPs aren't selling, they'll stop putting their time and devotion into quick cash-ins. I still go to Tech's show, I bought a backpack from the Strange music store, I bought TMTYL and 13 (because it was worth it) and K&S, etc. Strange is still getting my money in other ways. But you're right, you proved our point exactly. if you don't like it, don't get it. That's free market, and when enough people don't support that artist, the label drops that artist. And when an EP comes out there might be only a good track or two, so I'm gonna download that, but I'm not paying $10 but 2 good tracks, that's bullshit. and Tech 'n Trav need to know that. ¡Mayday! will get my money for their EPs, Krizz might, Kutt might, Ces probably will. If you like it, get it. If it's not worth the buy, but there's still a track or two you like, download that shit, maybe they'll wake up. I've bought every Tech LP and I'll buy the EPs that are worth it.

Lol thank you, at least somebody understands the basic principles I was attempting to relay. Sometimes I have to sit back for a second and realize that I'm speaking to the various mindless puppets on Tech N9ne's forum that can't grasp certain ideologies. I was about to respond in hopes to enlighten that young man but you basically touched each point I would have addressed and summed it up. Just to reemphasize however, I'm a fan of the majority of artists/acts on the current Strange Music roster. To correct NZTechN9ne, I never stated that I didn't like the overall products as a whole yet rather am opposed to paying $10 a piece for mass consecutive releases that more or less disappoint with minimal replay value. Try leaving E.B.A.H. in your stereo system for a month and you'll understand what I'm speaking of. Any music, even full length LP's, can become played out after a certain amount of listening time. So now transfer that ratio to a 5 to 7 song EP followed by dividing it in half as not every song included on the project will appeal to everybody. That doesn't leave much to be desired when considering how I'll spend my extra pocket cash, no thanks.

No problem. I agree with him that we should support Strange (duh, I think everyone here agrees we should support our artist) but as you and I both know, we're not saying not to support Strange, but not to support half-assed projects. 'N I said it before and I'll say it again, if YOU GUYS like it and think it's worth the money, then buy it. Don't base your purchases off of my opinion, but if you don't think it's worth the money, I don't see why you'd make yourself $10 poorer when Strange is certainly well off.

THIS

Also note that is a unit reflection of the obvious flagship in Tech N9ne. I shudder while pondering the numbers his label-mates have/will suffer. I'll go ahead and drop my earnings the next time I start to see solid LP's come into fruition again.

Idk, I feel like Boiling Point being all K.O.D. 'n all will bring interest. I mean, l did say, if it's worth the money go get it. But we'll have to see if it's even worth the money to begin with. I just don't see how they think 3 EPs with Kelvin, Boiling Point and Momentum in a month is a good business strategy? it's gonna hurt probably all of their sales

LOL
