Album goes hard, my remedy, get buck, 808 bendin', perfect stranger, and cash out were my favs, I actually liked this album more than Kalikos and maydays but that's just me, I loved the beats on this one my rating would be 5/5

It tooke me a few listens...but I liked it more and more each playthrough.

I did have a few problems with it tho. Whoever said something about it sounding the same...I agree. Not necessarily the beats or the tracks, but a lot of this album has the same format. Instead of getting into the songs, it seems a lot of them start off with 00:45-01:00 of the chorus before the song actually starts. Not the first time I've seen this happen...but it happened on a lot of songs.

Also, I was a little pissed that Stone couldn't make it past 2 verses...a lot of the songs kinda went chorus-verse-chorus-verse-chorus-end. But eh, either way like I said it grew on me. Probably the most lyrically weak SM release I've heard in a while, but not too bad if you can get into it.

New Kid Comin was released under Ruthless Records. If this wasnt his first Strange album, why would Scenario say, for his Strange Music debut LP, on My Remedy.

Not to mention me making fun of slang has nothing to do with me not liking the album...how can i put this in nigga slang.....i was not 'hatin' when i asked him to define what "this album goes hard" means.  Granted i did know what he meant and i was being a jackass but its just funny to listen to people try and define slang terms, makes me laugh especially in person.

I completely agree a lot of the album sounds the same, 'n I was hoping I wasn't the only one who noticed the 2 verse pattern, I think it's great to mix up the amount of verses in a song, but I feel like he only does 2 verses a lot. Not a bad album at all though, beats were really nice, lyrics were ok in most songs, nothing really great about it, but Stevie definitely has a distinctive voice and sound to him 'n I'm glad he broadened his topics, even if it was just a little bit. Probably the weakest release from Strange so far this year imo but the CD itself wasn't weak, it's worth the money to me.

aight heres my opinion if anyone wants to bitch about it go ahead, i liked 9 of the songs on this album but the only one i really think stevie killed it on was oneless seems like he put alot more effort into his lyrics in that one would like for him to broaden his vocabulary think he could go so much further if he did, keep on keepin on stevie be waitin for the next one homie.

and Tech, Krizz, Kutty, Scoob, and Hopsin all killed it on there versus.

I even like it better then Kutt Calhouns album!!!

This album is def strange music material I dont see how anyone can dissagree..

Hell its better then Raw and Unkutt if u ask me. (Not like that was a bad album or anything)

You know how when you think strange music you think of Tech Krizz and Kutt....

Well now when I think of strange I think of Tech, Krizz, Kutt, and Stevie..

 

Dont let these idiots discourage you Stevie, theres plenty of die hard fans like myself who thought this album lived up to its hype!!!!

Stones album was solid for a few reasons. 1st, the beats selected were both on point and bring an energy to them that only Stevie can kill. The content of the album was all over the place and showed sides of Stevie that we had yet to hear.with Tech as mentor the sky is the limit for this guy. 2nd, his voice.the way stone spits is like no one else can.his voice deliveries energy at a dark sharp witty level that sucks in the listener like a hypnotist. Combined that with an already legitimate on stage performance and you get a very solid artist with a glass ceilling.
I only want to see him focus on his material a little more and plan out tracks that can also translate into live performances. That seems to be techs formula and works.

I agree that the tracks did sound very much the same throughout the album, that isn't to say that the album wasn't anygood or not worth buying. I myself was happy with the album and was well worth my money i thought, plus on a awesome sound system these beats sound banging, and that's something only stone can do so props to him! Like with anything the more you do it the more better you become at doing what you do best, keep up the good work stone.

On a side note nobody else like the track MOSH? I myself fucking love the beat on that track which is kinda funny because im usually one to slide to the more lyrical tracks lol.

How do the tracks sound the same throughout the album??

Im not understanding where everyone is gettin that, The album is set up like a typical strange music album.... 

Starting with some Roudy/cocky/party songs , then some deep shit, followed by some party shit, then darkness shit, and a chill ending.
