The people who say they like simple music just don't understand how to appreciate real talent. They don't even know how to be their own person. I'm going to say about 80% of the people who like Wayne and Eminem just listen because their friends do, not because they actually like them, Half of those 80% that like Eminem probably don't even understand what he tries to say in his lyrics or the message he tries to send. You really have to be a fan on music to love Tech. I'm not hating on your opinion either, just giving mine as well.

1) substance is there.  those that can't see just how intricate and at times mindbending his content is really shouldn't say shit. 2) rhymes too much?  this is Rap for a reason... 2) simple rhymes like cat, hat, etc?  those are means to an end if you're following everything before that 4) Lil Wayne had a serviceable verse for that song, but even some of his own Stans are saying it was nothing mind blowing.  And yet some of those same ones are also sprouting that "murdered Tech" shit.  Even if I hasn't heard Tech before, I'd listen to both of their verses, and still note that Wayne's was dry bread compared to Tech's.

 

If these people don't care for the speed flow, fine.  But opinions aside, they don't know what the fuck they're talkin about if they think Tech isn't a Killer as a lyricist and a songwriter.

well anyone who's listened to tech from the beginning/ long time know what hes talkin when he references strange things. and thats all that matters. tech we kno what the fuck you sayin and you murdered every track!

Ya the ones who are saying he rhymes to much are clearly waka flocka fans and are used to no rhymes what so ever. Style to them is money woman cars. A complex rhyme scheme to them is bitch rhyming with bitch. And for the ones who said Wayne murdered him are clearing developed mentally delayed.

I think that what they might mean by he 'rhymes too much' is that he tries to cram so many rhymes into a line or a verse or a song, that sometimes it gets to the point where it's not even a coherent thought. I think lately he does do that a little bit, and he has a history of it in the past, as well. I can't really speak for 'the new fans' though, and none of them are here to defend themselves.
