he didnt dumb down his music he talked about different shit in a different style to show his versitility. of course these tracks arent what we all know tech is capible of. what tech did is showed he can rap on anybodies level. regardless if its below his or not. the gates mixed plated had a a compilation of a buch of different styles not just techs. this cd wasnt a tech n9ne album, the name of the project is Tech N9ne Colabos, yes but this is a Strange Music project. same as MLK and Sickology 101, its just the fact that MLK and S101 where to get other rappers on his level TGMP was to show everyone that tech can spit on everyone elses level at the same time as keeping up with his. this is the same thing as when K.A.B.O.S.H. is released. people are gonna hate on it and say this aint tech and blah blah blah. you are intitled to your opinion bro im not hating on that, but you cant go saying someone is brain washed just because the actually found an album that you didnt like apeasing. i got what tech was doing with the album and it made since. if you get on every track and make everyone your on a track with sound like shit no one is gonna want to work with you. you cant go around makin the people that cant spit on your level rap on your track or vice versa and make them look like total shit. he gavae the shine to some people that some of us havent heard of. theres are a few people featured on tgmp that i havent heard of. i do agree that some of these songs arent the tech that we all know, but thats the beauty of tech he can rap on anything about anything he's not just rapping about the same shit over and over again. listen to harvey dent, "want my old shit buy my buy my old albums" that song right there basically says he doesnt care if people dont like his new shit that he is gonna continue to grow as an artist and bring fresh shit. dont get me wrong he doesnt want to lose fans but as ive seen it for every fan it seems he lose's he gains 3 more. i have people that never even heard of Tech before they met me listening to his shit every day. i know complete and udder metalheads that listen to nothing but Iron Maiden, metallica, Ozzy, ect.... and ever since ive introduced them to a few tech songs they have been giving other rappers a chance. just because tech isnt destroying every rapper that he is on a track with doesnt mean he is dumbing down his music, he still spits originall shit he just lets the less heard of people a shot to show what they got. i mean if i had tech on some of my tracks and he went harder then me every time idk if i would even put them out. LOL. i mean i dont want someone makin me look like shit on my own song. and even more then that if tech asked me to spit on one of his tracks and did the same thing idk if i would even want to be on the song any more. its just the simple fact that tech tried to match the level of rap skill that everyone had on this new album and he did that very well. i dont think that anyone went harder then the other on these tracks it was a very equal skill level on each track. IMO

So sorry that I'm not gonna support Tech if he makes bad music. I could care less what goes on in his life. Party, dark, happy, or drugged, there is no reason to compromise the standards of the music or dumb down the material. Gates was not Tech...it was dumbed down...Tech is not dumbed down! So I will no longer support him if the music stays that way.

this collabo album was more for the other artist that were on it. tech was giving them a chance to get there name out there like someone should hav did him a long time ago. all the beats pretty much were produced by someone else not strange. sickology was a sick ass album cause that was the general theme. the gates mixed plate is just that the theme of mixing different styles and thats what i like about tgmp. tech is doin this for the other artist to get them out to his fans. matter of fact im bangin tgmp right now. and as ive said before tgmp was a Strange Music project just as all the other collabs were, yes they all are titled Tech N9ne Colabos but that is the name of theose projects form Strange. i mean come on F U PAY ME is the shit. O.G. is the shit.Gamer, Harvey Dent....you gotta actually listen to the shit dont just disregard it cause its not his old shit. of course its not his old shit. he dont feel that way any more. groth and versitility is what sets him apart from the norm. this is the type of shit that big labels proll told him when he was tryin to get a deal. "tech no ones gonna listen to "your" music"...."you gotta rap about whats hot right now"......people arent gonna want to hear about that kinda stuff".....and now people are tellin him the same thing but what makes it even more fucked up is that its his fans sayin that shit....let the man do the music he wants to do. Sickology 101 is soo much better then gates mixed plate its not even a contest. So weird how so much changed from both collabos albums in a year so fast. Sickology 101 was truly sick and truly had great collabos. Gates mixed plate was bullshit no noticeable good collabs. I skip every line other then Tech N9ne's on that album except Kutt,Krizz verse in their songs on the album those were pretty good. Gates mixed plate was so mainstream. To me it depends on how sixes and sevens how that sounds where Tech is heading its tough to tell. I can see where your coming from and I sort of agree. I would be pissed if Tech is popular with that music that would attract the idiot mtv fans.

I actually thought KOD was very hit or miss with the tracks and Gates was all miss. That album turned Tech into a generic rapper. Now I believe Tech writes his life and what he knows, but I also believe he used that as an excuse to make an album full of mediocre party songs to get mainstream attention. He is dumbing himself down to please the masses.

Perfect example of how the general population can't handle anything when it's too "smart" would be how everyone jumped on the shows, Heros, 24, Lost, and all that other bullshit when shows like The Wire struggled to get ratings. Arrested Development was canceled because it was just too clever for most people to get the jokes. You can't be smart if you want the public to get it.

Have you checked the Seepage track list? Alucard? Bite Me? Tech is a vampire now? Or is he trying to ride the popularity of twilight and true blood? I get he did slither, but the vampire was used as a metaphor, which made it original. Now i obviously havnt heard seepage yet so I can't base anything off of that, just speculation. But from what i've seen is that Tech is going downhill, and it breaks my heart to say that because I have supported him since 2000.

TGMP is just what the title says a mixed plate of different rappers getting thier shine that tech is giving them to his fans. MLK is what it says Missouri Loves Kompany it was a bunch of MO rappers collabing with a few other rappers. imo tgmp was better cause it had different rappers on it with tech then who normally is on tracks with tech. not saying that the other rappers that rap with tech all the time arent better then the rappers that are on tgmp im just saying i understand what tech and Strange Music was doing with each collab and i think that tgmp was Strange Musics best project as a lable. and thats what each collab was a Strange Music project. not aTech N9ne album. even though the title of the collabs are Tech N9ne Colabos these albums arent Tech N9ne albums. thats what most people are getting misconstrude is that the collabs arent tech albums. so thats why i said what in said. cause imo if they were tech albums they arent his best albums but there not his albums.
