You guys think Strange should grab as much talent as they can? Or focus more on the artists they have now?

If so, who should they sign?

I like scoobie, but trash scoob and prozac bring on JL and then stop signing people till everyone on that label is selling 15k-20k a album

They should keep Big Scoob and Prozak. Problem is Scoob needs to release a new LP. I noticed he hasnt done much work (except for features) after he was hospitalized.

I'd love to see Hopsin get signed to Strange. But the roster is strong as is and with the year Strange Music has ahead of it there really isn't need for any new acts.

And what's with all the hate for the big homie. Scoob is tight and I like what he brings to Strange.

...on a similar note, what's the deal with Strange Lane Records?    Maybe Strange was putting too much money into Young Bleed and they didn't get their return on investment.

My thoughts would be keep well established artists on Strange Music (i.e. Tech, Lynch, Mayday, Ces Cru, Stevie Stone, Kutt, Rittz etc.(even though some of these artists aren't selling HUGE numbers, but most are making great music.))

I'd personally love to see smaller independent artists join Strange Lane (i.e. AQUALEO, JL Bhood, Bizzy (Pedro Bizz Juanjulio).

They need lil B, Trinidad James and, chief keef..... Lmao jk but I agree with the above^^^ tho IMO they should drop Prozak, Ces Cru, Big Scoob, Mayday, and Jay Rock, and sucks to say even BLH maybe. Because none of them have really have hit song (money making material) that I have seen. Meaning that they don't seem to bring much revenue to the table and face it, that is what the music BUISNESS is about. Even tho I listen to all those names
Besides prozak and don't WANT to see them go, revenue wise I think it would be better for them
to part ways. Even Kutt obviously doesn't make that much revenue wise. And I hate to say it I really do but MONEY wise it would be better to start promoting Rittz a lot more and trying to get snow... And JL. Even Irv would generate more than them if promoted accordingly. Tho that would be taking the strange away from STRANGE music. That's why I think Tech and Trav are in a predicament having dope artists that create no revenue and not knowing what to do. I feel like I could promote better then they do. Which is probably a revenue issue so it's basically a revolving cycle of what to do and reasons hindering. Ok I'm done, don't be pissed, I'm
Just puttin it on the table of discussion. And idgaf about my punctuation I'm on a phone. Lol
Aqualeo and bizzy helllll yeahhh that would be the shit
What kind of shit have you been smoking?? If anyone that is going to really blow up is Jay Rock because he is affiliated with Kendrick Lamar who is becoming famous. Jay's fanbase has actually increased so do your homework before speaking nonsense.

Watch bro Jay Rock will make no hits and will not "blow up". Jay Rock is not Kendrick. Tech should have signed him I stead. DF

Mayday
Ces Cru
Krizz Kaliko
Kutt Calhoun
Stevie Stone

Everyone else needs to be dropped Tech should put out three ,if not less, more actual solid albums then hang it up sit back and help the people he's signed reach higher levels of success

Rittz?

Throw Rittz in there and I agree. You have to look at it from a business perspective. Tech and Krizz bring in the most money. Prozak and BLH are 3rd and 4th. Talent wise, I couldn't agree more. Drop Scoob, BLH, Prozak, Ces Cru (I'm gonna get shit on for that one, and I hate to say it but drop Jay Rock. Jay Rock puts all his effort into TDE. Stange makes no profit from him and looking past profit, he puts out no music. They should put more money into 5 or 6 artists instead of putting any money towards mediocre acts. I think Mayday is a damn gold mine.

Are you half retarded?? Look at the exposure he got from Money Trees off Kendrick's album. It would be a smart bussiness move to keep Jay Rock because he will open up more doors of fans to Strange Music. Just because SOME of you think Jay Rock isnt a lyricist doesnt mean everyone else feels the same way. Why you think Tech signed him??
