You guys think Strange should grab as much talent as they can? Or focus more on the artists they have now?

If so, who should they sign?

fuck no to twisted insane. and not as big of a no, but a no to snow as well.

Tech N9ne is old, let's face it. The only acts strange should be signing at this point are people who have proven they can stand on their own and have potential to be stars (like rittz).

People like JL, twisted insane, and snow the product all have some skill, but i don't see any of them getting big in the long run. (Also i think twisted insane is garbage and nothing but fast flows).

Hold the fuck up. Why the fuck do you have Lynch under your no talent list dude. Way outta line!

And Vin Detta is the type a shit I don't like. Everybody want to be a nice guy glass half full congradgulator. Fuck that! Yeah Scoob is cool, but that's it. Is he best for Strange from a buisness approach?? Naw. He falls into the 75% of acceptable bs on Strange.

Strange needs to continue to sign acts with loyal fanbases that have proven track records be aide of they're talent.
Like Brotha Lynch who sold. A million before his deal with Strange with never having a big deal. Only Talent can do that!

Rittz was the best thing on the market and Strange gotm!

It only further tells me that Strange knows WTF they're doin and anytime I think they should do a certain Collab or sign someone who's goin to help them, they always do!

I think alot of these acts who are signed are for reasons other than just money and advancement. And I respect that even if I don't like all of it.

If there was something if like to see personally.
I'd like to see a 1 album deal with Twista or Yelawolf just to see/hear the end product.
Mystikal was a cool idea before he signed to YMCMB

I'm growing tired of concious rap and backpack shit.
I'd really like to see Strange keep signing aggressive flow spitters that can shock you by rappin there fuckin ass off.
Young Droop would have fit in nicely with Strange.
And Twisted Insane may need a lil polishing but I think He'd do a dope Strange album. That track he did with T-Nutty is some a the dopest dark gangsta shit I heard in a long time.

Throw Rittz in there and I agree. You have to look at it from a business perspective. Tech and Krizz bring in the most money. Prozak and BLH are 3rd and 4th. Talent wise, I couldn't agree more. Drop Scoob, BLH, Prozak, Ces Cru (I'm gonna get shit on for that one, and I hate to say it but drop Jay Rock. Jay Rock puts all his effort into TDE. Stange makes no profit from him and looking past profit, he puts out no music. They should put more money into 5 or 6 artists instead of putting any money towards mediocre acts. I think Mayday is a damn gold mine.

Everyone else needs to be dropped Tech should put out three ,if not less, more actual solid albums then hang it up sit back and help the people he's signed reach higher levels of success

your a idiot

Ces Cru has HUGE Potential...and our amazing lyricists. not all flow....

Prozak is the 2nd highest selling artist after tech last time I heard

Jay Rock aint going no where because of Kendrick....wouldnt be surprised to hear Jay Rock on the radio in the future

and Mayday?....that makes you double the idiot. Mayday is the most talented act on strange. period. They dont need strange to promote them like crazy there already good at promoting themselves. Have a AWESOME STAGE SHOW. both wrek and bernz or dope.to say strange should drop them is so stupid...if anyones blowing up on strange outside of tech its gonna be mayday

Music isnt all about "a hit song". if you love music you dont make it to get on the radio. you make it because its what you love. Thats the difference between good music and washed out played over n over radio hits. ones made with love. ones made for money.

They need lil B, Trinidad James and, chief keef..... Lmao jk but I agree with the above^^^ tho IMO they should drop Prozak, Ces Cru, Big Scoob, Mayday, and Jay Rock, and sucks to say even BLH maybe. Because none of them have really have hit song (money making material) that I have seen. Meaning that they don't seem to bring much revenue to the table and face it, that is what the music BUISNESS is about. Even tho I listen to all those names
Besides prozak and don't WANT to see them go, revenue wise I think it would be better for them
to part ways. Even Kutt obviously doesn't make that much revenue wise. And I hate to say it I really do but MONEY wise it would be better to start promoting Rittz a lot more and trying to get snow... And JL. Even Irv would generate more than them if promoted accordingly. Tho that would be taking the strange away from STRANGE music. That's why I think Tech and Trav are in a predicament having dope artists that create no revenue and not knowing what to do. I feel like I could promote better then they do. Which is probably a revenue issue so it's basically a revolving cycle of what to do and reasons hindering. Ok I'm done, don't be pissed, I'm
Just puttin it on the table of discussion. And idgaf about my punctuation I'm on a phone. Lol
You do realize Tech and Big Scoob have been cool for a long time and people like you saying they should drop him is pretty much a slap in the face at Tech? Maybe if fair weather fans like yourself actually gave the artist a chance and buy their record maybe they would push to get his album out. Whatever the case is on Scoob not releasing anything yet, I think Big Scoob is good, have you heard him on Stevie Stone's and Krizz Kaliko's album?? He still has it. So stop being a negative bitch that complains about everything. Nag, nag, and fucking NAG is all people like you ever do. You're like a fucking cancer that needs to be rid of already. This Tech N9ne's record label NOT yours, so I'm pretty sure him and Travis know what they are doing more than YOU.

smh so much nonsense.

People want to drop artists who have yet to drop an actual album, what the fuck if wrong with you people smh. Let's wait for Ces Cru and Rittz to drop their albums instead of making immature assumptions.

Prozak was the highest seller after Tales From the Sick, but times have changed, during that time plenty of artists dropped stuff. That's not to say Prozak isn't selling well, because he clearly is, more or less the same as Mayday's chart positions. Not to mention he brings a lot of subject matter to the table (inb4colelols)

Stevie Stone, I honestly don't care for, but he's proving to be very effective in marketing, so from the business perspective keeping him is fine, so it's chillin'

Jay Rock.... anyone who thinks he isn't worth having is kidding themselves

Thank you! Finally, someone in here that knows what he is talking about. To think I was losing hope on all mankind. Lol But I have to disagree with you on Stevie Stone.

Look, Strange Music does pick good artists that have potential. Its just up to the fans to support them. If Soulja Boy was signed to Strange Music (WHICH WOULD NEVER HAPPEN) then I think its right to say that there is one bad lyricist in the label but all the acts that are currently signed are awesome in my opinion. Im not going to sit there and knit pick on one rapper because he doesnt do horrorcore or whatever being the reason.
Ces Cru - dope mc's, great lyricist that rap about absolutely nothing half the time.... Doubt they will blow. They def don't make music you can ride to or get hype to and for me and a lot of people that is important. They have good flows, but to me they say lame shit...
Mayday- too mellow for me dude. The soft ass beats don't do it for me. Klusterfuk would have been way better without full mayday production, I rarely ever listen to that EP. GREAT live show tons of skill. But I can't stand that weak tone they set on albums. They genre that the are delving into wont capture many ears unless they're
Emo kids that like rap or someshit lol no offense to mayday fans, but I'd rather see them live any day of the week. Fuck if they cut a LIVE album it would be better than that hypeless bs. They get almost no play in my car.... A lot of it is maybe because I just don't like wreks voice, super annoying to me.
Jay Rock? Are you fuckin kidding me? GTFOH.... And you know he doesn't need strange gaurenteed he's already dropped and theyre all just waiting for the contract to run out. Because he won't bring anything to the table for STRANGE. And honestly prob not that much for aftermath or top dawg or whatever the fuck haha.
Don't be the type of poon that likes everybody with a snake and bat pendant.
Don't be the type of poon that says tech's son is a badass rapper just because he came out of techs dick either.
Don't be the type of poon that doesn't want to hurt artists "feelings".
If no one critiques them then they will never push to step their game up and take shit to another level.
Just don't be a poonany and everything will be ok. Smfh

And look I'm just saying that not everybody likes to sit in the dark and listen/study all the lyrics all the time and really sit there and ponder about your life, I do but that's just me. BUT I also LOVE ridinf down the street and banging the block down with dopness! Lol Strange music artist really lack in that area to me. To make money you have to sell. Now I'm not saying, Oh shit they should go mainstream blah blah blah fuck that. They just need more bangers IMO not lame attempts. I know they're probably all cool motherfuckers but just go harder if you wanna keep the artists that you got. Mayday was I disappointment to me because I was looking more more of a ROCK band, as I said, not super mellow lame hang your self and remember the past type depressing shit.

Yeah because Badlands, Last Days, Everything's Everything, Hardcore Bitches, and Take me to Your Leader are tracks like that...

oh and apparently Mayday and Ces Cru's EPs charted higher than Neh'Mind

@IMO If there is an artist that lacks in skill, it isnt in Strange Music. Tech knows what he is doing when he signs artists, leave it to the professionals that know what skill is. As an independent record label, they need artists that have potential and means of growing. Usually it takes to time for them to gain a solid fan base unlike mainstream artists who get a lot of radio play that become well known and liked. Its also good to have VARIETY in a label to appeal to different groups of people, which I find you are lacking in the understanding of this.
