We also have to realize that Shady 2.0 is 12 different MC's when strange is only 6.
In my opinion the best one on shady is shady.  The rest are just tag a longs. what 50 had one good CD and that was almost ten years ago. SlaughterHouse and yelawolf are cool but Strange music is gonna destroy everybody on there way to the top. All these mainstream artist are smart for doing what there doing. Getting a peice of tech's cake is going to go a long way and everybody around him will benifit. Much love Techn9ne. No offense to Eminem he's cool and all that. But it is a Strange new day I believe in Tech N9ne
ima go with shady on this one. i dig everyone from strange and shady but shady is def more lyrical. plus they got em yela n sh that is untouchable imo. i kno im catch sum shit for this but i am a huge 50 fan, have bn since his underground mixtape days back n the 90s. and whoever said if u like 50 then u rnt a rap fan, ur fuckin ignorant

I like both but STRANGE all the way cause they got the N9NE!!!!!!

People I dont care for on Shady - Yela, Cashis, D12

People I dont care for on Strange - NONE

|So Strange wins for me. That s why im on this site ond not theirs. lol

I really just despise the recent material he's been putting out as compared to that of The Slim Shady LP to The Eminem Show era. If you dug Recovery that's fine, I just honestly couldn't get into it. I didn't like the acoustic infused beats he was rapping on, the pussy ass hooks that were laid down, or how he just seems to scream his vocals into the mic opposed to the smooth style he used to throw around. And I wasn't saying he was going downhill in terms of success, I was talking about in the quality of his music.

how can you say eminem is going down hill? Infact hes doing just the opposite, he just bought the hill, shit on it and then leveled it in order to make room for his next 10,000 sq ft mansion.

I do agree with most of what you said about 50 and shit though...50 is now shoveling snow out of peoples yards for money...thats wack

I didn't really care for Recovery either although there are certain songs I like off of it such as Talkin' 2 Myself, Seduction, and No Love. The rest of the album is complete trash in my eyes, but hey that's my opinion. Slaughterhouse blows me away with each song I continue to hear. They have a bright future ahead of them as a group no doubt. 50 Cent always has and always will be able to smash the game at any given point in time with a hot radio jam followed up by a decent enough album to make sales quota. If that were not the case he'd be very irrelevant to this conversation. Yelawolf has impressed me somewhat with his most recent mixtape. I'm not a big fan of some of the beats he chooses to spit on but I guess that's a matter of individual taste. The entire D12 group concept is kind of played out to me. Bizarre almost rules the top of my most hated MCs list, and without Proof the only person really holding them together at this point is Em. Cashis might as well not even exist to me, so that concludes Shady 2.0 right there. As for Strange?! I believe each individual artist has all the potential in the world to keep expanding and grow into polished vets. Tech and Lynch have already proven to be just that. I am keeping a close eye out for Kutt, Kali, and Jay as for now. Scoob is alright as well but if I had to pick a weak link from the label he would easily be my choice. With all that being said... Tech N9ne is the greatest rapper in the industry today with an entire roster of dope artists to back him. As Eminem continues to plummet downhill with his flow and 50 Cent becomes more of a social joke day by day, the clear cut winner has to be...

STRANGE MUSIC

i wasn't a big fan of recovery either, i just thought the hooks and beats were horrible on too many of the songs. i really like songs like mockingbird, sing for the moment, lose yourself, when i'm gone...etc i liked relapse better. with that said though i'm not gonna even think about questioning his skill as an MC slaughterhouse could have put him on lyrical murderers. Slaughterhouse is hella dope, Yelawolf is cool and i don't care for 50's music anymore. i got to go shady but i still like every on strange but shady 2.0 has the better lyricists
*on some songs not too many
Yea,the old shit puts his last couple albums 2 shame,Even infinite was a devestating album as far as lyrics go.This New sing song stupid ass R&B rap is pissing me off these days. Its like all of it is made for 12 year old girls

That cause you are too retarded to listen to the lyrics and you just bang your head to the hook. People who think recovery was half as good as his old shit don't like rap they like sing alongs.

Cole said:
i dont get how many people on here hate Recovery... imo its one of his best albums

STRANGE BITCH....Em's last album was garbage.Techs was the shit.Shady has a solid camp tho no bullshittin.Slaughterhouse cant b fucked with.Yela is 50/50.Cant say shit about D12 until I hear a whole album without proof.Devils night is one of all time fav. albums.Strange has Lynch.Nuff said.hahaha COAT HANGA STRANGLA.Strange takes it
Both, you can't compare the two because it's like comparing apples to oranges but I wish they would make a collab album together.

Lol...

I like Em he got some sick ass flows but like it was said earlier em did fuckin fall off tha face of the earth for a few years. Slaughter House is sick as fuck and so is Yelawolf. I think Strange Music wins hands down, but I think after a few years Shady may have a good chance after some dope ass albums.
I listened to Tech since 98 and Em around tha same time I think they r some lyrical monsters. I think Kali is very well rounded with is musical talent. Lynch has always murdered shit, & im diggin the Gangsta Style from  Kutt Jay Rock n Scoob.

Time to re-state a new position:

D12 needs to boot Bizarre. I'm not big on his stuff, and idgaf that he's in the group since i can take a verse from him without being pissed. but he gives D12 a bad name and everyone overlooks the talent Kuniva & Swifty has (Kon Artis hasn't been doing many verses with them lately). Replace Biz with Gordy or Marvwon or Royce or Hush. They also need to put out that mixtape for me to see how much they impress me. and R.I.P. Proof

50 sucks

Yelawolf is cool, but i have'nt heard too much of his stuff to really care about him yet

Cashis is w/e, idc about him

Eminem is dope. i like his new style, i dunno why he's getting so much hate. still a master lyricist

Strange:

Tech: best rapper easily

Kutt: i'm not a hige Kutt fan, he's dope tho, and i'll always check out his stuff, but he has been destroying everyone on his features

Krizz: Talented. dunno what to say, he's amazing

Lynch: Dope as fuck. goes on and off my top 5 list

Jay: haven't listened to much of his stuff, but he hasn't impressed me yet

Scoob: SOlo stuff is w/e, has a few good tracks. as of Shock Treatment and after, his features have been cool

Before i make a final conclusion i have to hear Strange's new stuff this year, and Kali's album whenever that it on their part.

Shady i need to hear a full D12 ALBUM, no more mixtape shit. Em still has it. Slaughterhouse will kill it, no doubts. Yelawolf i'll have to see. The determining factor for me is how good D12 will be for the most part. Unless as i said before, if Prozak gets back on Strange then Shady loses :P

Fuck you,I cant have a opinion......RECOVERY WAS GARBAGE,with the exception of 3 or 4 songs. The rest is radio made trash.U can tell that Relapse was more ems kinda music.Recovery was for all the 12 year old girls that buy indidual songs off "I tunes".And people that listen 2 rihanna and lil wayne.A last ditch attempt at getting some of the buzz young money was blowin up with.Im not a huge fan of them or anything. But they were fuckin everywere on MTV.Y u think he did a song with wayne, minaj, and drake. He knew that 12 year old girls dont wanna here his serial killer type crazy shit.3 am,same song and dance,Insane, just dont give a fuck,D12-devils night...Thats em type shit.

Fuck the guy who said Recovery was garbage. I felt thought on Recovery Eminem displayed how he was feeling in a very clear way. Any album that you can feel the emotion of the MC or artist is not garbage.

But on the discussion I would have to go with Strange. I've been digging Yelawolf alot lately but Tech, Lynch and Kutt are untouchable IMO. Not to mention the vocal diversity that Kali brings to the table.
