This shit keeps going on and on and on and on and on. Everytime Tech drops a collab album its like "oh hes selling out blah blah blah. Then he drops a solo album and everybodys back on his nuts..

Everyone was crying about sickology 101,the autotune and all that bullshit. Then kod dropped and all of a sudden its some of his best work to date. Motherfuckers need to stop expecting some groundbreaking, deep material from collab albums and realize those albums are meant to be sort of like mixtapes that obviously are made for funding touring and future projects.

There has been wack shit on each and every collab album hes ever dropped. What ppl are failing to realize is that collabs with artists like lil wayne and others would open the door for Tech and the rest of the independent artists who have been putting it down for years not only strange music but the rest also.

I dont think some of you guys know just how important Strange music is to the entire culture of hiphop in the first place. Ive said this time and time again but some of you kids are failing to see the big picture.

The success of Strange music and other indie labels is absolutely vital to hiphop and the rest of the music industry and these guys are showing the world how to thrive inside of one of history's worst econimic crisis while the rest of the music indistry is on life support.

When artists as big as lil wayne , 50 cent and other big companies take notice of a record label like Strange Music without the help of any big time promo what so ever it is considered a victory. A victory that everyone who has been a fan of Tech should be proud of. A victory that we all take part in everyday whenever we burn a cd for our friends and families in hopes that we make new fans.

Someone obviously did that for lil wayne in one way or another and for an artist with an ego as big as waynes to take notice and ask Tech for a collab is just another sign that all of his hard work and sacrifice is paying off. Tech is without a doubt then hardest working man in hiphop and he deserves to be featured on every single mainstream artists album so the entire world can hear one of hiphops best kept secrets shit on their favorite artists.
Just because Tech is going to have "mainstream" artists on his next album doesnt mean he is a sell out! these artist are coming to Tech on their hands and knees begging to be on his albums because they know how dope his music is and they want to be a part of the Strange Music world wide phenomenon
the fact that they are all Tech fans just shows how talented Tech really is
With the logic you're using, Tech sold out back in the days of "The Anthem".
King of The castle, king of the castle!!!

This thread is cool, pauseeee, NAAAAAT

fuck you quit talking about tech selling out because he finally made it. you guys are fucking retarded...wayne is the shit, snoop is the SHIT, and eminem is the SHIZNIT. who the fuck else is keeping hip hop alive?
What I fail to understand is how do most of you guys say "Ohhhh KOD is the shit Tech is back to the old days" or "KOD is Techs best work" and for that 9 month period Tech was back to his old self. Then as soon as GMP drops he becomes a sell out, and Tech got weak on us. It doesn't make sense to me. If you don't like GMP throw in Anghellic or AP and quit bitching about how Tech is selling out or is getting weak. Sure, GMP isn't Tech's best work, but it's basically a mixtape. Move on from it and patiently wait for All 6's and 7's.
Wayne is in prison. How is he keeping hip-hop alive right now.

CHA to that! but the shows are a lil different but that could be that im not 16 when i first went to a show. but your right, i listened to Tech before i got into being a JUGGALO, because they did what they wanted and made that money green. so Tech do what you do!

Bro.. Why hate on success.. Nah mean..I know it will make for better music... dude.. I work for the label! I know Tech bro. he has not changed a bit in the almost 10 years I've known him.. he is still Tech and thats what matters
I am a long fan of the man known as Tech N9ne, but even i think the GMP was a lame album. the bonus songs went harder then half the album. But every artist has a flop album that fans dont like, this is common. I admire that tech wants to be a big name in the game, and in a way he already is, but im not ready to call him a sellout yet. I think 6's and 7's will go hard if he can get wayne, snoop and em to come through and make some killer appearances.
