“I’m so happy with how these songs have turned out. Whoever’s a fan of me already is just going to love this project. A lot of it is life stories. It’s crazy. I’ve got a song in there called ‘My Interview’, which is basically a mock interview, and it’s kind of like a bio song, giving out my story and my influences.

The type of rap music and the rappers that influenced me growing up, that’s the type of music I put it on this album.” -Rittz

wow....I never got much into RITTZ' music (although 99% of the time I hear his mixtapes are dope).

His Strange Music 2013 songs FOR REAL and AMEN have 4sure made me a fan.

Looking forward to buying RITTZ (Strange Music 2013) CD.

The Jonny Valiant Mixtape that's floating around isn't a real mixtape and isn't anything official. It's just a compilation of "one off" releases and features that he was on at the time that someone just threw together. The pic they're using is an old pic that was jacked from a project called Jonny Valiant Vol.0 but it ended up never being released.

ive gone on sort of a slumerican binge lately, getting anything i can by rittz, yela, dj burn one, big hud, stuggle, jelly roll etc... what suprised me about this title is that there was a mixtape called jonny valiant, so im wondering if there will be any similar tracks but remade for the major debut? either way, CAN'T WAIT!!

Sadly that's what's wrong with music on the Internet, u can't always believe the Internet! LOL

Dude honestly I did too, I ONLY downloaded White Jesus: Revival, for Blowin' My Mind, because that had been the dopest song I'd heard in a while at the time (still shits on just about anything anyone has done imo haha)

I only took to a couple songs off the mixtape at first, but I zoned out for a minute and started to actually "listen" to what he was saying instead of "hearing" it, if that makes sense. Im a fan of the entire mixtape now. That being said I've never questioned dudes lyricism since then; once you can kind-of fall in line with what he's getting at, every line is dope. whether it be a metaphor or just some real shit

This album, I think has the ability to sell really well, and do even better in terms of the listening quality. These two songs have already shown Rittz was and is still on his A game

Ive been kind of curious about Rittz. He has great technique but Ive questioned his lyrical abilities and how well his solo album would be. Granted that I was drunk when I heard it, I listened to For Real off the Independent Sampler and was blown away. Immediately after I finished listening to the track, I preordered it. High expectations now. Could be the best LP dropped in years or could be a Word on the Streets (hyped to be Stranges best release but actually rancid water spilling out of the corner of the trash bag).

The same shit different day track u get with pre order is sick too... With the preorder do u get a digital copy as well or just whats specified in the list? I'm realizing one drawback of he preorder, I don't get it on the 30th =\ o well what's a couple more days haha!

you'll get it usually the day of, or before the release. that has been my experience at least. No on the digital copy tho

Not out yet.

This is the pain in the ass about being Canadian. I always pre-order the day they announce but get my orders a week later. It sucks big time. Especially cuz i dont wanna listen until i get my copy. I only look at stuff strange officially releases. Bluuhhhh. Although i was lucky once and got My black gold 2 days after release.

I hope we get a video soon. Can't wait to hear this album! Damn!

I know its off topic, but does anybody have the full version of paraphernalia?

After listening through the Independent Powerhouse sampler I'm actually eagerly anticipating "The Life And Times Of Jonny Valiant". One song in particular, "Amen", really captured my attention. I'm absolutely in love with the instrumental, reminiscent of the golden era G-Funk style if you ask me. I'm able to heavily relate content-wise and his flow delivery showcased on the first verse was second to none. I'll most definitely be picking up a copy come release day.
