I don't know why I have to clarify this.

I don't like Obama. He gave nice rhetoric during the campaign of fighting the system. It didn't happen. He continued policies that already fucked up our country because he's either an idiot, a terrible politician, or he's just another corporate hack. In no way do I support him so stop saying Obama didn't do this or that like he's my idol. I'm voting for any other Democrat that is more dependable than that guy.

1.  You think Medicare and Social Security are GOVERNMENT WASTE. And to say stupid shit like food stamps are being abused is stupid as fuck. So people who are already in a fucked up financial condition are trying to get a bit more to survive. Oh my, that's such a big issue, despite the BILLIONS of dollars we give to oil corporations among many others, as 'subsidies', as if taking that away will prevent these billion dollar businesses to make money. Shut up about the petty crime that people do to survive and concentrate of REAL waste.

2. If you haven't realized, our spending is in defense. That's all we need to cut. Sure, Ron Paul would cut that, but he would then cut everything else that we DO need. And to ur stupid 'waste'  Social Security: There is a 100% separate tax that goes to that, it's not part of the federal budget. People pay into it, the money goes into a pool of money that others contributed to. People have payed into that their whole lives, and what you apparently want is to rob American taxpayers, and yourself of tens of thousand of dollars per citizen in benefits that people WILL need

3. Sound good. Let's let the private corporations that crashed our economy in the first place handle the economy. That worked well in the 1920s, just as well as it worked in the past decade, thanks to Bill Cilnton, George Bush, and Obama. I guarantee the US economy will crash again in the next 10 years because we will allow these greedy bankers to run shit after they already fucked us over.

In our constitution, there is an Amendment that states that the Congress is to be responsible for the WELFARE of the country's people. They are the ones who should take care of us. Why the FUCK would you want a private company to take care of you? There NUMBER ONE priority is PROFIT. They don't give a shit about you or me. They give a shit about what will make them an extra buck. If fucking you over is what is needed to increase profit, they will.

Examples? The countless environmental disasters by oil and mining companies who avoided regulations. The healthcare industries that refuse to give treatment to save a few pennies here and there. The weapon manufactures and private contractors that make money off of wars.

Yeah, private businesses really sound like the type of shit I want to run our country

Last time I checked, FDR's New Deal generally helped us get out of economic destruction, and that was NOT by letting private businesses have more control

4. I don't care what Ron Paul voted for on the war. While i agree with that, that had nothing to do with what I said in my point.

5. We have less government than we did during Ronald fuckin Reagan. We already have minuscule government. If you cared to look at who is in Obama's own administration and in our government, you would see they are all the nice business men you want to run our country. Larry Summers, Tim Geitner, Rahm Emanuel used to, the list goes on and on.

The Constitution didn't say to have small government at all. it has many specifics that say the government has it's own specific responsibilities to the people. in NO WAY does it say that we need to have a privatized society.

But hey, we already have right wing policies in place. We have unsustainable policies from Bush that Obama is continuing. If you think you're right, our government is much closer to your ideal view than mine, so when our economy crashed again, I'll wait for you to come back and say it's because we had too much government SMFH

Well, because there aren't any other intelligible people on this thread... I'm going to attempt to make a response that covers all of your half-witted points on Ron Paul

1. Obama's current policies allow for much (trillions of dollars) waste in government programs, such as Medicare and Social Security, as well as his (ridiculous) health care plan. Even something as simple as food stamps are being abused in the current system, as wealthy Harvard students collect $400 a month

2. Ron Paul would be cutting down on these programs to eliminate this waste that has been put forth by Obama. There wouldn't be a need to raise taxes if all of this nonsensical spending was cut.

3. The Government is not a bank or a hospital or a company. So why should they have the power to act as one? Letting private businesses handle the economy is the best solution to fix this recession. Soon our country won't be able to afford these private benefits and the debt ceiling will have to be raised further.

4. Ron Paul is also the only republican who voted against the war in 2002. He will help reduce the massive military spending budget. Something Obama has promised (along with many other things) but hasn't delivered.

5. Ron Paul strictly follows the Constitution. The document our nation was founded on. In our current state: smaller government is better, and that is how government was intended by many writers the Constitution.

6. Just because you can "rage" doesn't mean your politically correct. douches

i'm going to give all the people that waited for me the satisfaction of me 'raging'

1. We are at a 60 year low in tax revenues, and the debate is based on raising taxes on millionaires, not people like you. So shut up because you clearly don't watch or read the news

2. Ron Paul is an idiot with no economic policy and wants multi-national corporations to run our country in the guise of a 'free market economy.'

3. Ron Paul wants to get rid of all the benefits tax payers have already payed for, Social Security, Medicare, etc. He doesn't want the government to help anyone because his stupid ideology is to make the government as small as possible. That vacuum of authority is just going to go to the richest people in, AND OUT, of this country.

4.'Standing up against the government.' That's such a superficial thing to say. Why don't you do research and find out WHY our government is so broken: The corporate influence through the lobbyists that have infected our system and literally control every policy. We need to stand to those that corrupt our politicians, the REAL root of our problems. They got the money, and they donate to politicians to become their bitches.

Campaign finance reform. That's all we need for fair game

5. Seeing as you think we have high taxes, I need to tell you that Obama is giving into almost everything the party of ass holes that Ron Paul in: Republicans. He campaigned on Change, came into office, then caved into everything to keep the Bush policies intact, and even went his way to take some of them further.

6. If you want to vote for honest politicians, vote for people who want policies that work: Bernie Sanders, Dennis Kucinich Alan Grayson, Howard Dean, etc. like Magyk, i have respect for Gary Johnson and ROn Paul for not being corrupt hacks, but they have stupid ass domestic policies that make little sense

No, it's cheaper to let petty crimes such as welfare abuse go rather than spending millions, if not billions, on cleaning that up. They're trying to force drug testing on those attempting to receive welfare. Hey, don't let drug addicts get money. Great idea right? Uh...drug tests cost money. A lot of money if you're testing that many people. Keep in mind, these drug tests rarely work, but let's pretend they do. So we drug test everybody and we weed out the weedheads, then what? Do we keep testing everybody and spend more money? Or do hope everybody who passed will never touch drugs again?

Cheaper in the long run are you serious? So let me get this straight, the 20 trillion dollar debt the US is currently in, is cheaper to you than spending some millions of dollars to have real regulators monitor  government politicians and  those who fund them?

Ok #1 ppl always find a way to scam a program no matter how full proof you make it someone will find a way. That didnt start in obamas term as president either. It has been going on for years. Who is he going to get to go through those programs. the only way to make sure they are not being abused is to evaluate everyone on them. You would save a couple million dollars but spending 10 times that in the investigation. I hate to say it but its cheaper in the long run to not do that. I can continue if you need me to?

i think i could end this thread and discussion with this... no matter how much we debate or bullshit it doesnt matter we're all going to be fucked either way the banks still have the printing press on and we're still in all these wars so you can get voted in to be president and nothing will change. Humanity will bring among its own destruction it is inevitable so know matter who's right or who's wrong im at the point where im just saying who care's?
I'm going to ignore your weak grasp of the English language and say this. If humanity will indeed bring its own destruction, down to politics and/or weak leadership, why wouldn't we care? You might be happy to just watch everything go down the shitter, but some people actually want the world to be a better place, and attempt to make it so. These are the people I give a fuck about. Wastes like you can curl up and die.
