Permalink Reply by Mike on February 11, 2012 at 3:09pm Im a huge Lynch and Jay Rock fan but i would agree with Franco Jay Rock Is really good at what he does now, and i think he has the potential to be way better than lynch, especially if he keeps working with Kdot and the rest of Black Hippy cause some of Jay's best verses are on Black Hippy songs but its all subjective anyway cause i mean i have tons of lynch albums and i love his music too.

yeah, that's another thing, Lynch was a pioneer and an innovator, Jay Rock is good at what he does, but I haven't heard anything revolutionary from him
FourTwenty said:Agree with charles....not hatin but jay rock is just like another Game Imo
Charles Weis said:Lynch's flow 'n story-telling put him light years ahead imo. I kinda like Jay Rock, "Diary Of A Broke Nigga" "Kill Or Be Killed" "No Mask On" are some of my favorite tracks by him, he's just too inconsistent for me. 'n yeah it's fair to say BLH can be repetitive, I think that's a fair point. Personally I think Lynch's verse in My World, or the tracks D.O.A., Sooner Or Later & Rest In Piss would bury Rock's entire discography.
I also think DAAM & CHS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Follow Me Home
James Franco said:Find me a verse Brotha Lynch Hung has ever, in his life, spit that is as sick as that verse. He uses the phrase "nuts and guts" in almost every song he's ever recorded. It gets old as hell and frankly I don't understand what people like about him. I respect your opinion, so please tell me what makes BLH better than Jay Rock, in your mind at least.
Charles Weis said:one verse isn't gonna change my mind 'n definitely not push him in my top 4

Everyone putting Jay Rock below number 4, listen to his verse in this song. Dude's a beast.
