it was just an extended preview! tech is the librarian in charge of the other 3, and they have to be quiet and earn their wings and they write books and the librarian decides which ones to destroy and which ones to publish.  thats all we learned from the 9:00 clip...the whole thing will make a little more sense when we see it

Those are other librarians? Why does Tech look normal while the other kids look like homosexual hogwarts kids dressed in kilts?

lol tech doesnt look normal hes got goofy glasses and his head glows and hes got wings.  its supposed to be surreal

What lol

I'm waiting for the whole thing to put this trailer into context. Seems kinda pointless just by itself. Not the best trailer to "HOOK" the audience.

Okay this was weird.

this looks dope. i never knew about the first one, but i had to go watch it after this. i have high hopes for this film.

I hope tech got a speaking part if not I'm gonna be very disappointed lol what the fuck am I saying I don't really care if he speaks in the movie or not as long as that mother fucka keeps making some good as music shit he could the the deaf and blind angel for all I care much love to all you guys at strange music if you read this man yall keep making good music and remember haters were once real n***** once upon a time so don't be to hard on them lol

does anybody know if this will be on DVD?

...or is it just a web-series available only online?

hmmm....i went to the website, and the real thing looks pretty cool, bet it would be a dope show to see.  but as far as this extended trailer for the second one, that shit was waaaaay too dragged out.  if it werent for me being so uncomfortably confused, i would have clicked stop and never gave it a second look.  but i had to know what madness was behind all of this, haha.  anyway, the devils carnival looks tight, and thats cool that tech n9ne has some sort of play in it.  but i dunno what the hells up with this trailer.

For those looking for more info on this...(I'll tell the story cause I lived it...)

The Devils Carnival is a (very twisted, deep, GOOD) musical by Darren Lynn Bousman (SAW) and Terrence Zdunich. It's the project they decided to work on following Repo! The Genetic Opera - after they lost the rights to it.

"Lost souls enter The Devil's Carnival where they are each faced with the sins they committed in life."

It's an independent film. Here's a little background into...Repo! TGO is an awesome film I highly recommend...a rock opera that takes place in the future in a world where organ repossessions are legal. Yes, it's A LOT like Repo Men, and it actually came out 2 years before as well. Ironic.

DLB made the movie, pitched it to several studios but was unable to find a major studio to back the project. So it only saw limited release in select cities across the country. It gained a cult following after its DVD release, and to this day is still in theaters from time to time with shadow actors (people who reenact the movie in the theater as you're watching it) - much like people do for The Rocky Horror Picture.

Repo! TGO was originally planned as a trilogy, but made less money than it cost to make and as I said somewhere down the line they lost the rights to the films.

So on to The Devils Carnival...they decided to take the independent route on this film from the jump. The film was made on a lower budget, and was never pitched to a studio to see release. They decided this movie would be released as an attraction. They went on a road trip across the country, circus and all. Big top, with actors there to play the parts of an actual devils carnival, they would show the movie, then show Repo!, and many of the cast and production crew were there to sign autographs and etc.

So The Devils Carnival 2 is the sequel to the first...which I highly recommend watching...I could try and tell you what it's about but it's easier to have you watch it...here's a few Repo! and TDC videos to check out tho...

21st Century Cure RTGO

Legal Assassin RTGO

Trust Me TDC

In All My Dreams I Drown TDC

Grace for Sale TDC

Hope this sparked some more interested in the films cause they're both awesome.

LUV IT!
