but lets be real...
i see what your saying. i dont think tech expected himself to get this big this year. he figured that hes getting older and he should finish all the shit he hasnt done yet. but now all of a suden he blows the fuck up and he's on the verge of being one of the biggest names in hip-hop. he didnt plan on getting this much buzz i dont think.

You're a dick, lol. I knew you were gonna say that. And honestly, I'm sure he will.
matt meyer said:he should make it Tech N9ne presents: K.A.B.O.S.H. lol
King Rasta said:Yes, music-wise Kabosh would be an amazing next step. Only because it's something that we've been waiting to hear for years. But business-wise, it would be a step backwards because it's not technically promoting "Tech N9ne". It's not about the money, it's about the promotion. Tech's not putting out All 6's And 7's hoping he'll get a fat check, he's hoping it'll get him the recognition he wants. Once that recognition is obtained, then all of the side-projects will be much easier to do financially, and they will also allow him to experiment with a vast amount of music and artists. Instead of making an underground rock album that mostly die-hard fans know about, he'll be able to make one that everybody knows about, possibly allowing him to collaborate with big names in rock that he might not be able to collaborate with otherwise.
King Rasta said:What I said has nothing to do with money. I'm not saying Tech is pushing "Tech N9ne" to make money, he's doing that to firmly plant himself within the culture of mainstream music. He's promoting Tech N9ne so that Tech becomes a household name. Tech wants the entire world to hear his music, and in order to do that he has to stay on the same track that he's been on all of these years. Once Tech N9ne the rapper is big enough, that will allow him to pursue other musical ventures. If Tech N9ne blows up, then that will allow him to not only push the other artists on Strange, but it will also allow him to experiment with other genres and groups. Look at Wayne. He became the biggest superstar in hip-hop, then he made a group album with Young Money and his rock album.
Most people know Tech N9ne "the rapper", so to put out a major project right now that doesn't have "Tech N9ne" in the name would be taking away from his aspirations to make "Tech N9ne" a household name.
matt meyer said:tech aint all about the money though. tech makes beautiful music. and music wise kabosh is a great next step
King Rasta said:Tech is on the verge of blowing up in the rap game on a higher level than he has ever done before. I truly think he's going to continue pushing "Tech N9ne". He needs everybody to know the name "Tech N9ne" as a solo rapper, as a brand, before he does any experimentation with groups or rock albums. I mean, it just makes sense. He's about to make it to the big league the way he wanted to, by pushing Tech N9ne. It wouldn't make much business-sense to suddenly drop an album under a different name and of a different genre, or another rap group under a different name.
