Personally i think Jay Rock is not a good fit for Strange.

Jay Rock is the shit and has more flow than 99% of all mainstream bullshit that is out nowadays. I'm highly looking forward to Follow Me Home. Sometimes I wonder about the musical tastes that some of ya'll have on this site. You promote wach shit all the time and down someone dope like Jay Rock... WTF? I think some of you guys just don't get the lyrics that he spits, and don't understand what he is talking about.

 

And people saying that Brotha Lynch is the 2nd best on strange... You have got to be fucking kidding me. Brotha Lynch has put out shit quality since he has been on strange. He can't even stay on the beat anymore. All of his rhymes are about eating nigga guts and baby nuts. He used to be so much more versatile and used to have something to say. Now he just sucks monkey nuts and doesn't say anything worthwhile and sounds like he's drunk 24/7. I think the sherm went to his head. Listen to "My World" and tell me he hasn't lost what he used to have.

 

If you guys haven't noticed everyone on strange is gangsta on some level except Krizz. Tech says shit about being a blood all the time, Kutt talks about being a blood ie. "Colors", Big Scoob is a known blood of 56th street Rogue Dogg, Brotha Lynch is a known crip, Skatterman and Snug Brim (Who used to be on strange) are bloods. So to say that Strange Music isn't at least partly and/or mostly a Gangsta Rap lable is just asinine. Strange has always put out gangsta rap and that was what Tech started out with.

People can have whatever opinion they want on his music....but i dont know how anyone can say he doesnt fit with Strange

Even if he's not talkin about eating people and frying nutsacks on his bbq grill. He sounds like he is drunk all the fucking time. His flow fucking sucks. He cannot stay on beat if it was need to save his life. He cannot put together a decent rhyme scheme anymore. He is washed up, not to mention his getting closer to 50 fucking years old. Time for him to retire the whole cannibal shit and try to make some decent music that is worth a shit. Then after that he can try to stay on beat and make up a decent rhyme pattern and possibly stop smokin sherm.

I think he fits with Strange just for the fact he's so chill when talking to him. Had like a 20 minute conversation with him yesterday at the Boise meet n greet just about the Black Friday mixtape and Follow Me Home. Way cool guy, really humble. His stage presence is hyped too..another reason why he fits in. I just don't understand how any one can say he "doesn't fit in" when Tech himself has so many different styles of music.

Yeah the whole "doesn't fit" tag really doesn't make since considering the label itself is named after a mellow rock song lol. Strange is anything they want it to be.
