Rules:
- Make a brand new beat. Don't use an existing beat you've already made.
- You can use samples but try and make the beat as original as possible.
- If you move on to the next round, you will have to make a brand new beat for that round.
- You will have 5 days to make the beat.
- Inbox me you're beat when it is finished and I'll post it.
- People will have 2 days to vote. Whoever has the most votes wins that battle.
- If you don't submit your beat on time then you're automatically disqualified.
- Voters, base your vote on the beat not the person.
- I will post when the next round begins.

What did you use for your guitars? Can't be Nexus..lol

Well, there's five guitars pieces on the hook. I actually recorded a few of them on my own, but I don't have a good interface so the quality is shitty. I recorded the sustain cords and layered my recording with nexus guitars to make it sound better. Then @1:23, there's another guitar if you can pick it out which is also my recording with mad filters applied to it cuz the original recording quality is terrible. The "solos" are samples I chopped up into various pieces and pitch corrected in order for them to fit the melody. And then the wahwahwah sounding guitars on the verses are also pitch and time corrected samples to fit the tempo and key of the song.
This is probably, honestly the biggest beat i've made. I scaled it down to 2:30 to fit the contest rules, but there is so much going on in it my computer froze up on me countless times just tryna mix it down lol
