Instead of just saying "Y'all can't take a joke" He should of just apologized if he offended anyone and moved on. But him saying "It was just a joke" just makes him look like an arrogant asshole.
If Tech Decided to pull the plug over what he said about his fans, Big Kudos to him. Let whoo kid suck some more whack mainstream dick. That whole interview is all about who he knows and has worked with. Fuck him. He's just a whack ass Dj.
It sucks that the mixtape was cancelled. Most fans were waiting for that damn thing, like a kid on Christmas wanting to open that one present and then turns out to be nothing at all. Yeah I think the majority of the fans are pissed, but life goes on.
Maybe someday all these tracks can be released in something like a Vintage Tech 2 or something to that extent. There is still a TON of things to be looking foward to from Strange come next year. Plus the whole getting together with Lil Wayne (hate him or love him) with the Carter 4. So fourth and so on.
But it is what it is, im sure Tech will explain everything that played out inbetween. But honestly people maybe upset that some fans got upset over the "white trash" remark, but you could easily put that person in the other's shoes and ask them how they would feel if they made some sort of labelled remark towards them. Whoo Kid should've manned up and kept it real and apoligized, regardless if his comments hurt feelings or not. Not "oh well people cant take a joke. So----done." And then abandon the project. Someone has an attitude problem in their FB post. Trying to make an excuse to justify your wrong doing ("joke"), only makes you look more stupid.
But thats all I got. Still got much love for the one they call Tech N9ne, and I am looking forward to hearing more of the sick Tech shit in the future. Keep doing what you do Tech.
thats sucks that it had to happen like this. i wish whoop kid lol wld have just kept his mouth shut until it dropped.
i totally respect Tech's decision because he really does care about his fans and that was a really messed up thing to say.
thats what happens when u mix realness with whack mainstream ignorance.
