After reading through this thread I was expecting to hear some straight garbage when I got along to hearing the track....I thought it was sick as fuck. I thought the beat was sick as fuck and really isnt that wierd I guess a lot of you just want some generic banger shit. His flows are sick. Im well beyond expecting to hear new subject content from tech. It is what it is...if you want some new subject matter listen to some other artists, Tech has established what he raps about and he doesnt really change it up. Do I wish for more? of coarse but i no longer expect or even anticipate it. As for the hook....Well tech always has a lot of lame or just lazy hooks. Either way I still dont get people sayin it sucked.

Yeah, agreed. I'd rather for him to just work on that, and not even bother with any releases until then. I'm sure Tech feels obligated to keep cranking stuff out though for more exposure plus Trav is probably pushing this EP idea hard because it makes sense business wise. The EPs aren't that long, thus don't take as much time and money to produce but really don't cost much less. The core fan base is almost guaranteed to pick them up. I'm not sure if I'll be this time around. Depends how the other Ebah songs are.

That something new should of been kabosh.

That's true regarding the repetitiveness. Now a days he's also always touring, so that's pretty much his life day in and day out. I think perhaps a concept album would be refreshing. I know he says he just writes his life, but maybe it's time to try something new. Either that, or talk about his life from a different angle or something.

The beat is weird, the chorus is weird, the flow changes are weird. Pretty much everything about this song is just weird. Not a bad song by any means. It's just... weird.

Or, if you want to go a little fanboy, you can say it's really freaking strange.

This track is growing on me like a motherfucker.  It's funny because I didn't feel a lot of the tracks on A6A7 when i first heard it, but now some of my favorite tracks are on there.  Tech's older music used to blow my mind right away. Now  the first listen is whatever, but the more I listen the better it gets.  I think it's because his lyricism is different now.  It used to be more straight forward, but now it takes a few listens to be like damn did he just say that.  Prob because the fact that he doesn't have new subject matter, so he finds new unique ways to say the same types of things. The content doesn't hit home as hard, but the wordplay attempts to make up for it. IMO it doesnt, but thats the tech we have now. If you thought it sucked, keep listening.  I think it's one of those tracks that have to grow on you.

for anyone to lazy to take it from youtube their self

This shit is dope as fuck, look at the name of the label bitches STRANGE MUSIC

its suppost to be strange

!!!!

What the hell does this even mean? "On 123 my nigga doin 4 much with 5 I B. my nigga 6 thousand & 7 hundred degrees my river 8 a earregular mindstate but it fried 9s liver!"

I have no clue, it doesn't mean anything, one of the lines that really annoys me, the last 4 bars of the 3rd verse are kinda dumb too imo. There were parts where he just started talking about nothing in particular.
