Not homo  " L E G A  L " .. you can easily and very quickly K.O. someome with an open hand chop across across the caroted artery on the side of the neck. Quite dangerous/fatal.....whereas a closed fist wont stand up in court !!

Thats the common misconception, the bigger the dude is than you the easier to fuck his/her balance. A chop from either pinkie or thumb side or your open hand is sharp enough to put lights out. with contact to or across side of neck or straight up under nose if your a sadistic fuck, or  quickly shatter jaw bone if he tries to harm your girl  or kids
