Of course people don't use the term "nigga" just to take the power or hatred out of "nigger". That's because that was started generations ago. As I'm sure you know, people didn't start saying "nigga" in the nineties. Think of almost any slang term that you use or have used in your life. Most likely you were not using that word with its origin in mind. Does E-40 say broccoli (money) to take the power and evil from broccili (disgusting vegetable)? No...it's just lingo now.

Im not a fan of anyone using that word because of the negative connotations associated with it. I can understand the taking the power away argument but how many people who use that argument actually use it for that reason? Overall, I dont really care too much when people use it because it is just a word but I never will. Maybe its because I grew up in the south and hear people say -er that I dont like its use but, unless people are using it like that, it really doesnt bother me too much.
And yeah, I actually lol'ed.

I feel what homie saying, if its not natural and you are just saying it cause you listen to rap music and thinks its cool then its not offensive its just lame as hell. I cant picture a group of white friends calling each other nigga. Its not a big deal to me but it makes shit awkward so I advise white people to stay away from it
(Katt Williams voice) This shit right here nigga....this shit right HERE nigga

Nigga I'mma say nigga all day nigga cause thats jus how I do it nigga. Know what I'm sayin nigga?
I am white and I dont use it casually in conversation. I find people who do to be overbearing.
I will say it if it is in the song, as many times as nessecary, I wont censor myself, but it isnt really part of my vocabulary.
Id never use it to describe a person, like oh that nigga.
I dont use it, basically because of the negative connotations associated with it.
Same reason I dont say really say faggot, it can be offensive and someone could take it way stronger than I intended.

Anybody see the Boondocks episode where the teacher got in trouble for calling Riley a nigga?
Rileys always like, nigga give me a pencil, nigga let me borrow a fry, so the teacher said, nigga sit down.
It also means someone you frequently hang out with
youre mad about "nigga", yet no uprise about negro? which means dead? the old white folks of the day said "oookaaay we will stop the nigger thing, yall are now negros, it means black in spanish! *whispers* just dont tell them spanish comes from latin, which origions come from greek, where negro came from the root word necro, which means dead" -_-

do your research broseph, dont be mad at the man using "nigga" as bro/dude/homie/friend, be mad at the maker of what is now an acceptable term for the entire black race.

The reason racism shouldnt be tolerated is because everyone should be treated equal no matter the race, so if you can say it, why cant a white dude? If its so bad for a white dude to say it then you shouldnt either because the negatvity around the word would still apply, either its cool to say fullstop or its not, its racist or its not. Simple fucking as.

I can understand it if it was used in a sentence such as 'Fuck you, you dirty nigger', but if its just 'shit nigga that was sick!' then what the fuck is the problem?
