I wasn't too crazy about Jay Rock joining strange i figured he sounded like any other gangster rapper that's out today. Not too excited for his new album however there's a few tracks from Jay Rock that stood out to me that made me think he has potential that he's got slight edge over the rest of the typical gangster rappers today i'm posting them on here these are the songs i've heard so far by jay rock that i approve of him

i didnt even bother to watch what videos you put, but with that being said, i think jay rock is dope, i mean he has that gangsta rap, and good lyrical flow and he has that west coast sound and growing up listening to west coast shit thats what ive always have loved...the game hes ok but not that lyrical imo....but jay rock stands out to me and he gets my seal of approval
There's a forum on here by limp pimp where I say I only dig jay on collabs....he has proved me wrong
Jay Rock is one of the dopest rappers ive heard in a very long time i just started listening to him after i saw him on the tour and he impresses the shit out of me, but thats just my opinion. I just think he has elements of everything, he has the west coast sound+lyrics that are crazy+awesome flow. and on a side note Black Hippy is the best rap group out right now they are all crazy good.
He reminds me a lot of the game only better lyrics and no constant name dropping. I was skeptical at first but after seeing him twice now (Independant grind and all6s7s tours) and listening to much more of his music he has won me over as a fan.
agreed cept slaughterhouse is the best group out right now imo crooked i is the best on the west right now i really like his style nd royce n ortiz are all over the place with hiphop dx on ortizz nutts and roycez shit wit em is topping charts they all have shit goin on the side plus there still constantly collabing IMO well except 816 boys lol
