Thats because the music industry is basically in the shitter. The days of people selling a million in their first week are over. Recovery will sell the most this year (except maybe Gaga) and it only sold like 741,000 first week. So thats good for indy rappers like Tech cuz the door is wide open to get nationally noticed.

ya, what the hell happened... K.O.D was 20-30 thousand first week. i thought all the recognition Tech was gettting would make it even higher up there.... i'm guessing he'll hit #1 on the independent charts tho?

i know it leaked early ive had it for a couple weeks, still bought two cds tho. im just sayin i didnt think the leak would make sales under 10000.

I don't think its that people didn't like it, I think it's more down to not having the money... hardcore fans will have no problem saving some money up for the CD but average/new fans might not, and I don't know what its like in America but over here people have a lot less money than they used to...

I know heaps of people that didnt buy it..
Cause alot dont like techs new style..
and im hoping if it doesn't sell as much as kod did.. he will realize this.
and go back.

But the leaking is responsible for this..
if many didnt hear it they would of pre-ordered and received it and then been unhappy.

Dude, people have different priorities, i'm guessing you don't smoke either but I do and I don't understand why it's a bad thing to buy that instead of a CD? Also, I said nothing about job's so your talking to the wrong person lol. Ever thought the reason people have less money is because they took that job they didn't want? And I don't know the situation over there, but it is hard to get work over here, any job not just the one you want.

Thats cool man. I gave kod as an example. Eveready wasnt dark dark music.. and i know metal heads that love that shit. People have different styles. I just feel KOD and eveready is what tech does well.. not mixed plate.

and so far all the people i seem to show tech too love eveready.
and question if mixed plate is even tech. ( i know its collab )

its all opinions at the end of the day.
Not feeling mixed plate but still listen to it occasionally.

Leak is the result of dropped sales though.
It seems noone works on here. lol

ths kinda is off topic but it ties into the leak thing, but did tech ever figure out who stole his album? and why didnt tech take the downloads off of megaupload and hotfile?
