I guess we can treat this like an official thread.

“The whole point of the album for us is about really building the army now,” says Bernz.  “I feel like we have a real following and the whole point ofBelievers is, these are the people that see things that aren’t there. It’s a call-to- arms to them in a way. The album is strictly meant for people that get it. It’s an ode to them. It’s kind of saying ‘the Technicians’, but it’s our vibe. Believers is our way of saying, ‘These are the ¡MAYDAY! believers.’

We’re just trying to go bigger. I think people want to hear big music from  ¡MAYDAY! and we’re not afraid to go for the jugular. We want you to have an ugly face the whole album through. When you put it in, I want a stinky ugly face and I want that face to last for about 60 minutes.”

It's sounding to me like they are going back to more of a Stuck on an Island type sound. I say that because I always felt like they mad TMTYL conform just slightly to fit in with strange music, just because it was their debut and all. Maybe i'm wrong, but if you compare TMTYL and SOAI, TMTYL "fits in" more with strange music no doubt. I think with this one thet are gunna be going back to their roots more or less. At least that's what i think bernz is saying when he says "The album is strictly meant for people that get it. It’s an ode to them.
