I think he is definitely getting repetitive...I bumped the album and it was aight....but nothing stood out to me too much, but it's still a collector's item for any Lynch fan. I thought it would have been the most anticipated because out of everyone on the roster, BLH had been inactive for quite sometime and this would been a way for him to go out with this...because it was coming regardless.

not sure if I understood correctly, but you're saying this album is the most anticipated from Strange this year? I think thats a few albums from being true. Lynch is great and all but I didn't understand the triology and think he has really slumped as an artist by doing it, not to mention how many times he has repeated himself now. I'm hoping he goes a different direction now that this trilogy is over.

I'm pretty sure the reason why it wasn't signed is because Strange has him listed for the IPH Tour and they probably want more fans to buy the VIP package to meet Lynch since it's been a minute he's been on the scene AND being that this is the one of the most, if not THE ONLY most anticipated album for 2013 on Strange they would want fans to meet BLH and get it signed in person...maybe it's just me but that's my opinion.

What? How does Lynch's fear of planes make the fans lazy? What about someone like me who doesn't have a date on the IPH tour close to my location? (Not that I've bought the album yet) but am I supposed to drive a state or two away spending money on gas, hotel, meet and greet, etc. because Lynch doesn't wanna fly? Better yet, what about international fans that won't get the chance to meet in person unless they fly to the US? Just like Cole, I think the autograph is the only thing that makes pre-orders worth it. You pay almost double the price with S&H as you would in Best Buy just to get a shirt that's 3 sizes too large and a sticker that's a dime a dozen by now. At least the autographs kinda made it worth it.

Lynch was my most anticipated strange release this year. And they should have been signed in my opinion.

just to clear something up, this album being the most anticipated is only because it has been talked about for yrs now. all other artists have had a release of some sort recently. theres really not much time to anticipate between techs albums, he keeps us bumpin new shit all the time. also, lynch is somewhat a staple for strange. hes a namebrand that was known long before strange. him signing was bigger than any recent artist besides maybe mayday. just an opinion though. I'm sure someone thinks i'm wrong.

Lynch isn't going for bigger and better things, he's actually gunning for a smaller market now. As most people don't really care to hear music about him eating people for whole fucking albums. His repetitiveness has only worsened over the years, to the point where all his songs sound the same except on different beats. The points you make are half retarded anyways, so I'm not sure why I'm even responding. His maturity level has only dropped by staying on this stupid cannibal trip. I think its time for lynch to grow up and make grown up music that people can relate to.

Not hating but I understand why you would want music you can relate too, but music is entertainment it shouldnt always be about being able to relate too every song or every album. I don't only watch movies I can relate too, just like I don't only listen too music I can relate too. If Its entertaining to me and I enjoy it im gonna listen too it no matter what the subject matter is. Thats just me though.

I for one am just happy that I am a size XL and all the preorder shirts fit me lol. I didn't buy this album, but i do like the shirts that i get with the albums.

I completely understand what you're saying here, but lynch hasn't changed his subject matter or even his vocabulary for the past few albums. The dude just needs to expand a bit or just change directions, cuz it's just old now. Its like the national lampoons movies, they used to be gold, but they just played it out and now all their movies are garbage. I just think it's time for a new concept.

I think the album shirts are fucking corny and plain looking, just my opinion tho

I agree with that he does get repetitive but I still enjoy most of his music. In a recent interview he said that strange offered him another deal, so now that the trilogy is over he might/should come up with new subject matter. He has a few songs that are not all about killing and shit, rocc the mic being a prime example. Hopefully he will take is music in a different direction now that the trilogy is over, although I did enjoy these releases.

damn, this chat shifted.
