I went to the show last night in Pittsburgh, PA. I have to say if he is hitting your city on this tour, GO. It is very clear that the Hostile Takeover Tour helped him to further evolve into a GREAT stage performer. I would easily say that his show is measurable to Techs, although they both ride in their own respective lanes. He definitely matches Techs energy level and audience interaction. The major difference being that where Tech has high energy and really great choreography, MGK matches the energy and makes up for the choreography with unpredictable antics and crowd participation. bottom line great show, easily improved 100x from his H.T.T. performance. Plus the addition of about 75-80% of the Lace Up album to the set list. Lace Up! EST 4 Life.

Permalink Reply by josh on March 19, 2013 at 1:22am I thought MGK did a really great job on the hostile takeover tour. I wasnt expecting much to be honest but his stage show and energy level were definitely impressive! not to mention that his music is really good in my opinion, and if you listen to lace up hes got alot of inspirational, personal, and relate-able material with great lyrics, wordplay, and production. After hearing his shit and seeing him on stage im a fan for sure, and im hoping to catch him on the lace up tour when it comes to seattle! Lace the fuck Up!
