smh.... oh ya he got half the word right..... so he's not completley hopeless............ u really didn't need to say that man

For one, Tech is from the Mid WEST.... So, saying he is from the West isn't totally incorrect.
For two, if you don't want this song to happen, you are a selfish faggot who needs to stop listening to Tech.

and I shouldn't have to explain why.
he has hardly any lyrical skills at all.....i get ur trying to be reasonable, but his lyrics are repetitive and his voice isn't even understandable

Lil Wayne is definately NOT a terrible rapper! He's good. The metaphors he brings are as good as any rappers in the game. Is he the best or even in the top 10 overall? I'd say no. Is he intelligent? Well thats a pretty vague question. Does he know about biochemistry, or international politics, or that the Dow Jones is a financial index and not a NYC mc? Probably not. Does he have a very large and unique vocabulary and understanding of how words can work together to illustrate concepts? Yes. My ONLY TWO complaints about Weezy are 1) those concepts he raps about are usually overly simple or just about how cool he is. But he can tell you how cool he is in about 5 million different ways! 2) DONT SING IF YOUR VOICE SUCKS, and DONT TRY AND COMPENSATE FOR YOUR VOICE SUCKING BY CHANGING IT WITH AUTO-TONE! Other than that Weezy is worthy of being on a Tech track and should feel honored to have Tech on one of his tracks. Its not about converting Weezy fans or getting recognized by Weezy fans, its about Weezy himself recognizing that Tech is a major player in the Hip Hop game and that it is time to get on board with him. It will be dope so just stop being so negative and show some love.

Lil Wayne is a terrible rapper, even when Tech destroys Wayne on the track, you think most people are going to recognise that? Has anyone here spoken to a die-hard Wayne fan? These guys will force-feed you some BS about Lil Gayne being the Greatest of all Time. Fuck. That. I'm all for Tech getting exposure, but getting exposure via a "rapper" whose only ability is to sell records with minimal skill is poor.

I'd rather see Tech on a track with Snoop or Eminem though, I thought Snoop fell off hard until I heard dude on La Coka Nostra's album and Lynch's, when paired up with dope emcees, dude really shines through. I could name some underground/independent emcees I'd much rather see Tech with. Also, in that interview, didn't The Clipse say they wanted to work with Tech? Shit, I'm down with that, there's some other mainstream artists as well that I wouldn't mind seeing with Tech (don't have as much fame as Lil Gayne, but they're not exactly underground either.)

To be honest, publicly turning Lil Wayne down might give him more exposure than accepting a collabo, lmao (Midwest rapper turns down Lil Wayne!)...I can see the headlines now...Lmfao.

I actually have reasons for not liking Wayne. For you to just assume every one hates mainstream rap is pretty ignorant sweet heart. Don't pretend you know everything about every one on this site. Wayne is the opposite of an intelligent rapper. Give me ONE song he's put out recently that show cases how intelligent he is. Tech doesn't NEED to collab with any one. Would a Wayne collab most likely rocket his career...? Yes, but Tech can do that on his own. There's a difference between wanting to collab with someone cause they're a fan of the work...and needing to cause they can't boost their career any other way. Also, Scoob wouldn't collab with Wayne. He's expressed his feelings towards Wayne a few times.
Also to Jon Fry, don't say...it's my opinion haters so fuck off....then become a hater yourself in your next statement Lol. Don't get butt hurt over something a person says on here.

Tech was talking about Wayne he's like "I'm actually from KC born and raised but that's ok, if Lil Wayne really was..." then it fucking cut out. I think they planned that shit haha

I dont really think its that big of a deal. Tech has proven that he knows what he is doing. If he thinks its a good idea, hell do it. I dont think that one verse is going to make Tech a sellout, ruin the album, or possibly even ruin the song. Its one collab that could be very big for his career. Some people need to look beyond their own desires and think about the artist.

With that said, I would love for Wayne to get on a song with Kutt about some real Blood shit...
lyrically i know what you mean. He doesnt use constanant rhyming well and his rhyme schemes are usually a little basic. But he is clever and his rhymes are usually funny.

The Best Damn fool TV Broadcast and it is unwatchable, it's choppy and it keeps cutting out.

I think i now know how this whole Wayne & Tech N9ne thing might have got started..... Through Glasses Malone. He was on the KOD Tour and is part of Cash Money.
Well, I think you need to understand what a metaphor is 'cause last I checked, dude uses a shitload of similes and hardly any metaphors, anybody can do that. When it comes to metaphors, Lupe's "Twilight Zone" destroys anything Lil Wayne has come out with...Speakin of Lupe, imagine him and Tech on a collabo.

We both must have entirely different views on what "good" is. The last time I gave Wayne any credit, I must've been like 12 or something...I'm 21 now. All I have to say on the matter is dumbed down shit sells. It's been a while since the decent artists outweighed the weak ones in mainstream hip hop.

Whats next Tech, Justin Bieber? If he does this it will insult most of his veteran fan basis but i guess its not a big deal to trade a technician for a couple of mainstream fans.
well i think he uses both metaphors and similies. Probably similes way more, and i totally agree with almost everything your saying. I just dont think weezy sucks. I think he's decent. thats all. But yes, the industry does like to dumb down their lyrics and when someone like Tech comes along, who actually has something to say, the less intelligent fan just cant wrap their little brains around it so they dont wanna give him a chance.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to fight against your opinion on the guy, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, what you eat don't make me shit after all, lmao.

I'd just much rather see Tech on a track with someone who has talent (in my eyes) like Inspectah Deck, Beanie Sigel, Vinnie Paz, RA The Rugged Man, Kool G Rap, The Clipse, MF Doom, Lupe Fiasco, Viro The Virus, Ras Kass, Canibus, etc.

I seem to recall 50cent being the "best rapper alive" a few years ago, seems it's Lil Wayne now, who's gonna take that spot in a few years? True hip hop stands the test of time, it doesn't fade away (Wu Tang Clan, KRS One, Dr Dre, Scarface, Kool G Rap, etc.)

...I swear it sounds like I'm lecturing sometimes, forgive me, rofl.
