Lil Wayne Might Retire After Carter IV
That’s right folks, from the mouth of the Martian himself. Weezy says he wants to, “bo[w] out still on top.” The rapper has faced a slumping career following his release from prison, plagued by failed singles, album delays, and negative reviews. With all this, it’s not a stretch to imagine that the beleaguered MC is seeking salvation from his fall from grace – as rapid as his sudden rise to dominance. Of course, the rapper had a more graceful reason on hand: “I honestly think it’s unfair to my kids.”
In an interview with XXL, the rapper nonetheless teased his fans with the promise of his next studio offering, “I’ma make y’all be like, ‘Nooo!’, I ain’t leaving out this bitch when y’all be like, ‘Yeah, it’s about time, dawg.’ Carter IV might be my last one. I’ma make y’all be like, ‘Fuck!’ Yeah, nigga, I’m gone.”
Unless you’re entirely new to the world of hip hop, you know retirement claims mean next to nothing. Think of…why bother: just about anyone with a big name, and, yep, chances are they’ve made clear – and gone back on – intentions to retire. Nonetheless, if Weezy sticks to his word, one can only hope “How to Love” isn’t representative of his final Carter chapter.

o well alright and i aint gonna lie he can make some good music it just kinda gets old like everybody else on the radio it'd be nice if he just left for a lil bit. i have no problem listing to the dude its just if its the same song everyday... But rebirth was awful tho

Referring to psy n subnoize? I understand this, but 90% of the people on here only listen to strange psy and/or subnoize and would throw them in sayin theyre better than wayne so i covered those bases, but hes also better tham alot of cats that get mainstream attention. Yea he uses alot of metaphors n shit but hes also better than alot of underground cats. But on the other hand theres alot of artists better than wayne. The point that im making is that everyone that hates him just hates him because hes lil wayne and doesnt really give him a chance

he is the best rapper in the bottom 25%. i've heard dudes that are wayyy worse then him, but most hip-hop blows him out of the water. but for some reason the majority of the masses pick him as their favorite rapper. why? why would lil wayne be anyone's FAVORITE rapper. i dont get it. there are ssssooooo many better rappers then him. so i guess you can just say i hate him because so many people like him.
