funny thing about the whole 'fuck the industry misconception" is that Tech along with everyother independant act all use the same marketing strategies with the exception of massive amounts of air time to get noticed.For example the fuckin internet,myspace,youtube street teams and so on.Oh yeah tech has a video on mtv!!! Only difference is the major label part that everyone is failing to realize.Tech used auto tune,royce da 59 used autotune.Ppl get caught up in thier disdain for lil wayne and kanye before they weigh the facts. Think before you type ppl!!!

I agree.. People can't get past the whole "mainstream" idea..They consider anything mainstream to be wrong and automatically no good..Forget if the music is actually good or not, just label it whack because they have a song on mtv or the radio. If Kid Cudi is only known for Day N Nite being on the radio, and you call him whack, and didn't actually check out his album, you're a peice of shit that doesn't deserve to even listen to music. Just as an example. More people need to LISTEN and stop judging everything off of what's "cool". Yeah, it's actually MAINSTREAM to diss MAINSTREAM..You idiots forget that? Good music is good music. Theres thousands of whack ass underground artists..there's hundreds of good ones. The difference is, theres actually more talented artists in the mainstream than underground if you want to do numbers. Get off mainstream dick and think for yourself instead of "if I like Lil Wayne im gonna be considered mainstream and mainstream isn't cool anymore!!!"

That is pretty much what I have been saying. Lol. Like I said, the sooner people realize that FTI doesn't mean hate every single mainstream arstist cause they're signed to a major label, the better off we'll be. I will say this again too, give respect when respect is do. Don't be so ignorant to place every single artist you may hear on the tv or radio in to a single category, just cause they're on the radio or tv. They might of just had that one song to get their name out there....Just like someone else did. Can you guess who? If you can't, I was refering to Tech N9ne. Cause he's done that exact thing multiple times. I'm sure that if Tech does become mainstream, some of you will be hypocritical and say, oh I've liked him way before he was mainstream so that doesn't count....So maybe, just maybe, people should just open their eyes a little wider and realize there are other mainstream rappers out there besides Lil Wayne and Kanye, that don't have the biggest ego in the world and actually care about making good music.
