lil wayne?
seems to me that tech is in fact selling out.. he wants to do something with lil wayne so it attracts the main stream. i mean lets face it people of course in all our goals we start and stick to our ideas..but as hes goten bigger he is going to loose site of those. Thats why mixed plate had such a main stream feel to it. what is main stream?? well its softermusic that can be played over t.v and radio wthout to much worry of offending to many people. owell if thats the way he chooses to go it is his choice. At least he made k.o.d killer misery loves kompany absolute power and others and countless tracks that represent what he is and where he came from.

I don't wanna believe Tech is selling out. Let's face it Stranges recent releases weren't up to par with our high expectations because we know they make better music. Their new music can be compareable to yesterdays shitty mainstream music (before the auto-tune era). What if this is just Techs plan to bubble onto mainstream with corny hits and 816 Boyz songs to grab everyones attention and then flip the script and show them the real shit. We know all of Strange hates Lil Wayne but does Tech? or is he just playing the part to get everyones attention and take over the soundwaves? I haven't lost faith in Tech just yet. I'm hoping for another solid solo album soon! Anyway these are just my thoughts on the situation. Instead of everyone bitching and moaning that he might be selling out just sit back and see what happens. This could be the TAKEOVER we've all been waiting for just gotta have a little faith! Pce out STRANGERS!!!

tech is doing what hes always wanted too. i think so anyways. hes always had so much hate towards the industry for all the dirty shit they did to him. startin strange was techs first step...he got bigger and bigger as his albums dropped and he did many big callabos with huge stars like d-12, e-40, paul wall, ice cube, chino xl and so on. tech has become more famous than hes ever been with the releases of killer sickology and kod. he got so big that he hit the point hes wanted too, he became so famous he can finally be a mainstream artist...ON HIS OWN w/ the help of travis and the snake n bat family.. hes not fallin into industry rap shit...or changin his views on his music. hes become better than hes ever been and its only gonna keep gettin better. although i hate lil wayne...i think this callab will take tech even further into his goal of takin over the radio and shit. even more people are gonna find out who he is and what he about...then he gonna undoubtedly become the best....ever. fan base will increase...money will increase and strange will eventually be the biggest name in music. i hope so anyways....lol all this is just what i put together...not anything techs said. just what i took from his lyrics and the way hes puttin himself out. regardless...he got no where to go but forward.

We all know that TGMP wasnt Tech's best album, and that's ok, every artist has albums that dont quite match his/her other works, and it seems like we always get to hating on an artist when they start to switch their style up, i.e. Lil Wayne, Kanye and now Tech, wtf? I mean for the most part those of us who do like Lil Wayne can agree that Carter III wasnt as good as Carter II and his new YM shit was bad, but just like Tech, I'm gonna wait for his next project Tha Carter VI to make a decision becuz I believe his time in jail will affect his music positively, and same with Tech, I think that taking this happy route with his music and getting more exposure will only show the variety of the kind of artist he is, I love Calm Before The Storm, Absolute Power, Anghellic, etc. But I still love TGMP and all the 'mainstream-sounding' songs hes made like Bout Ta Bubble, PuWahWah, Areola, etc. It's just Tech reaching out and touching all styles of music, wanna laugh? listen to Pu Wah Wah, having a bad day? listen to One Good Time or Happy Ending, having a party? play Everybody Move, wanna get pumped? listen to The Beast, the list goes on, dont hate change, and I know some of yall are saying that the quality is going down, again, wait for All 6's And 7's, if you think he's falling off after that then hate, until then tits or gtfo
