Permalink Reply by Sean Schipper on September 19, 2012 at 10:47am At first I thought it was from Chuckie from Childs Play, but after pondering it for a little while I realized it was Gage from Pet Cemetary. "I already played with your friends mommy. Now I wanna play with you..."
I dont think its a sample, it sounds like Makzilla or someone else recorded it, but it is definitely from Pet Cemetary.

Permalink Reply by JetblacK on September 19, 2012 at 11:09am I'm not really justifying, just speculating. He says he wants to reach the whole world and that he's the complete technique of rhyme, that he does everything. I don't particularly like the 816 boyz song besides rock yo head and all gas no brakes, but they are there for a reason otherwise he wouldn't waste his time making them. I just see it as Tech making mainstream-like music to reach those people. The real Tech fans like most of us on this site will know that it's just mocking dumb industry music. So idk I just laugh at it, its no biggie to me if they continue these songs, he'll continue making other great real songs until he stops rapping, that's a fact.
Also, I don't see anybody being signed to Strange that gets anywhere near as big as Tech, no matter how much mainstream appeal they may have, because Tech will "own" them.
Charles Weis said:
well yeah, but if that's the goal why didn't he just do that from the beginning and just make bullshit music all together? I don't see why he has to do it now. If he wants to sign other artists that make that kind of music then that's fine, he'll make money off of that. I don't have a problem with that, but I started listening to TECH N9NE for other reasons, don't get me wrong, I like most of the 816 Boyz songs but I feel like we just keep making excuses for our favorite rapper that we wouldn't for mediocre rappers. Do we stop to listen to ourselves and imagine what our arguments would sound like if we replaced Tech with 2 Chainz? Tech's past work, flow and concepts will always be light years ahead of mainstream artists, which is why I will always listen to Tech and why he is still one of my favorite rappers 'n why I will always support Strange. but I'm just saying, there are times when I feel like some of us let him get away with shit that we give other artists shit for. But I also understand that other people genuinely like this new music as much or even more than his old shit, so it is what is. 'N I understand Tech is a businessman, but like I said, there's a point where you can sign acts that make that music instead of making that music yourself, I haven't heard any full-length releases that were terrible or even bad from Tech yet so I haven't given up on him by any means, even the EPs are at worst average, but he's still doing good for how long he's been rapping and how hard he works, but these individual songs on each and every project (and they are on every project) are really bothersome... to me at least. And I'm not saying that you're necessarily justifying him trying to gain more followers, but that's just my thoughts, and boy do I have a lot of 'em.
JetblacK said:Actually it makes sense to continue it marketing-wise, they can branch out to different, more mainstream audiences. I feel like that was what Tech was going for on this whole EP tbh with all the twitter references and the party songs I think he's just trying to get more followers/attention.

Permalink Reply by ЖĭϞϬ ƦΔϟŦԃ on September 19, 2012 at 1:03pm EBAH - Really like everything about this song but the "Evil Brain Angel Heart" chant and the "long nose hair" line.
Earregular - I dig this track a lot, Tech just being weird.
Don't Tweet This - Mehhhh. I think Tech's delivery is nice, but it's a stupid song. I've never been a Twitter type of guy, so meh.
Rock Yo Head - I actually think this song is really annoying. The hook is fucking retarded.
Boy Toy - I like the beat, I like the "hook", but some of Tech's lines and occasionally his voice can be annoying on this song.
KJOMD - I actually really, really like this. The production is amazing, Kaliko killllllllls the hook and his verse. Tech's flow and delivery is amazing in his verses. I think it's a relatively creative idea, and very well put together. Maybe you have to have had a similar experience. I was with a girl who beat played so many games when it came to having a real relationship, but she loved my dick for sure. One of my favorites on the EP.
A Real 1 - Really dig this track. Tech goes off, and when he's heated like he is in this song it usually makes for a great song.
Overall, the EP is like every other EP Tech releases. Hit or miss.

Permalink Reply by Justin916 on September 19, 2012 at 5:13pm As far as the 816 boyz thing goes (I don't want to hit reply and have the whole convo under this post) I think when Areola came out it was a joke and it was actually kinda funny especially when mixed in with the skits from Sickology 101. However it seems like now at least once an album they are using them as filler tracks. I don't know if they really still think it's funny to make shitty ass "mainsteam" sounding songs that they seemingly put no effort into the lyrics and make the dumbest hooks possible. To me personally it is beyond played out. Abu Dhabi is the only other 816 Boyz song I have ever liked and even that is really only cause the beat is sick and the dumb chorus actually goes pretty well with it. I know people are gonna say Im hatin but Im not. I don't have to like everything Strange or Tech put out and I feel like they are just doing 816 boyz tracks so they have one less quality song they have to try and make for whatever album or Ep they are working on. And if they ever really do make an 816 boyz album or EP are they then going to put in some real effort or are they basically gonna stand there and say "Eff you" to the fans by putting out some garbage "joke" album and then laughing all the way to the bank after people pay for that stupid shit.
Permalink Reply by jwkstrange on September 19, 2012 at 5:25pm with all the complaining lately i expect techs next ep to shit on ebah in oct. boiling point. n next album will exceed 6 n 7s which was a great album already but im ready for march
