Lets Give Tech The Support He Needs
alright before you all go off on me for making a thread that might be similar to one already out here jsut read on, and please have an open mind.
I just got done looking at Coles post about the tech wayne interview on xxl magazine, and after watching the video of tech i realized how much us, his fans, arent really supporting him.
like tech said, we used to go press his CDs and hand them out to people, to spread his name and get everyone on the tech n9ne bandwagon, because thats what he deserves is worldwide honors. but then as soon as tech is at the footsteps of worldwide stardom (by possibly collabing with wayne) we get mad.
ive alwasy been one of the fans who supports tech and wayne collabing, because i can see what it would do for techs career and for the music industry, but so many people are hating on this idea, jsut because they dont prefer waynes music or talent.
REGARDLESS OF WAYNES MUSIC OR YOUR TASTES IN MUSIC, TECH NEEDS THIS COLLAB.
i feel as though tech thinks his fans have almost abandoned his pursuit for worldwide fame, and we need to SHOW him that we still care about him and what he wants to do musically.
I personally still stand behind tech and what he does. So if youre like me and you want tech to SEE our support for what hes doing, please repost. My hope is that Tech or at least trav sees this thread and shows it to tech and he can realize that even tho theyre are those tech/wayne collab haters out there, that he still has his fans, and we still love what hes doing.
Please repost "TECH N9NE FOR LIFE" is youre with me on this one. lets make it like the "tech go head and do you" thread.

If we're saying he strayed away from the hard ass beats from TGMP i'd agree cause they weren't the usual hard ass beats and did sound kinda generic but his verses on TGMP were still hard. He killed alot of shit. And I'm not saying that TGMP was his best album ever but everyone seems to be jumping ship after one fucking album. Eminem went through his shit and his fans stuck by him. Thats what fans do. We don't abandon and start saying he's washed up or going "mainstream" when in actuallity whats popular is what techs been doing for years. People are starting to take notice in what he does. When did that become a bad thing.?? When did that become a slap in the face to any fan for an artist to get to make music with whoever they want. Cause if you think about it saying fuck lil wayne because he's "mainstream" but wanting tech to do a song with someone like Eminem is hypocritical. They're both mainstream artists. I don't like Craig Smith but i don't get on here making a big fuss about it. People need to just realize that tech is tech and he'll do what he wants. I'm not gonna say he's nothing any more because he had an off "COLLABS" album. The next solo will be just as hard as K.O.D. and everyone will say he went back to the "darkness" cause noone can stand Tech to actually be happy or whatever the fuck he is. As long as he still brings the passion that he always has before. Need more Angels was the only song that felt like it had passion in it. But i sure as fuck didn't feel slapped in the face over it. I was stoked to have a crazy summer banger album to blast around town. You just don't make much sense to me thats all. Fans feel like their entitled to more than the oppurtunity to BUY a ticket or album. Thats all they deserve. Tech just gives us so much more that we feel like we can dog him whenever we want. Tech N9ne doesn't care about record sales, he doesn't give a shit if you torrent his albums, he said this in his responses to the forum questions, after all most rappers don't make that much money from record sales, they mostly just get it from shows. Look at the front page, a package where you get a ticket to his show, a 1 hour meet n greet with all the artists on the tour etc. all for 99$, if you ask me thats about how much a ticket to any other rappers show would cost.
Tech realizes that record sales don't make or break anyone, the fans do, so he makes offers no fan with the money would turn down.

How is Whoo Kid mainstream??? Just cause he does mixtapes for 50??? That's retarded. Next you're gonna say DJ Drama (Gangster Grillz, not fucking Rob Dyrdeks cousin) is mainstream. He's working with other artists everybody has heard of, and a DJ everybody has heard of... so why only get pissed about lil wayne? everybody is stoked for bad Seasons, but OH NO!
