i thought it was good wasn't spectacular but it actually went past my expectations not as good as B.L.E.V.E Or RAUK But Still I Like It mad at only it being 14 tracks

Overall, I thought it was good, but I was expecting WAY more. First off I didn't realize it was only 14 tracks, which I don't like, but that's whatever. Secondly, I didn't like how the first have of the album was basically all bangers, then the second half is all softer, slower shit. I don't mind those types of songs sometimes, because some of Kutt's deepest, and most heart-felt lyrics are in those songs, and I will always respect that, but I got way too hyped up when I heard the first few songs, then I skipped to the next one..oh here's a slow song, oh look another slow song, and another, and another, and another. It really put me off, and I found myself skip through almost the whole second half of the album. I'm going to go back and listen for sure, I just wasn't in the mood for all of those slower tracks when I sat down to listened to it for the first time.

I pretty much agree 100%.

After a quite a few listens though, overall I think this is a good album with some standout tracks. I'm not a huge Kutt fan, but I have friends who would certainly appreciate this album. Kutt has a more commercial sound to his music, and I feel something like this could have mass appeal. Maybe moreso than his other albums. Self-Preservation is some ratchet club banger shit, and then That's My Word has a Drake-esque, r&b feel to it. He has stripper songs, street music, and deep personal stuff; just like any other Kutt album. I don't think it's an amazing album, but good nonetheless. Again, I'm not a huge fan of Kutt so it is what it is.
