Proof is the name for something that gives you no other choice than to believe. If theirs a choice, then its not complete proof.

I think YOU are the one that needs to open your mind bro. Don't follow something blindly that has nothing to back it up or no merit to it at all besides the fact that its OLD. People are scared of reality, scared of life, so they use religion to "hold on" and give them "hope", if it improves your life, let it and that's fine. But don't come on here claiming that "God is real" and "the bible true" and all this non sense, you have no proof for any of that. 

 

Not hating because I know a lot of very nice religious people, you just have to look deeper than that. When you subscribe to a religion, you substitute nebulous group-think for focused, independent thought. Instead of learning to discern truth on your own, you’re told what to believe.
