Never said anything was wrong with Kaliko?  He had a good release.  Greg isn't a hardcore fan.  He's a blind stan who mentions Kali and no one but Kali.  I'm aware that it's a Strange Music forum, but are you sure that Greg is aware?

I can see calling people bandwagon fans, like the way some people say things, you can tell. That kinda annoys me, but the whole "dick riding" thing is pointless. I'm sure most of us respect the entire label, but we're all entitled to favorites. We can even change our favorite. Its a damn opinion and if someone mentions a person often, then it might actually mean that, as their opinion, they think that artist should have been on a song or had the best album of the year. He's one of my favorites too, and honestly, Shock Treatment, which most people dislike, was one of my favorite albums. It was a soundtrack for me through a part of my life when is released. Everyone experiences music different.

But, anyway, about Klusterfuk....

-I like Klusterfuk, the song, and still listen to it once in a while with it being newer than his other songs which I've listened to so much. The intro, I thought, was well-written and recorded. It is emotional and I'm sure touched a lot of people. The beat and verses I liked too. A few lines were kinda "eh", but I liked the song. The ending was okay, it didn't annoy me that much, but I usually skip it.
-I didn't like Blur at first, but it grew on me a bit and I listened to it a bit. Its a bit annoying skipping the intro, but I like the vibe of it, and I usually don't particularly like songs with that subject matter.
-Can't Stand Me is for sure my favorite on the EP. I think I liked everything about it. It sounded unique and I liked it. And I liked the lyrics and the meaning of it. Negative ridicule with high energy and flow.
-Ugly Duckling was alright. I listen to it on occasion. I see why people like it, but I didn't particularly like it as much. It was nice features and an interesting sample.
- I thought i'd like Awkward, but it was only okay. And after the third verse, I was like "wtf why?".
- DKNY I didn't like the intro and I don't really listen to it much. it was alright a few times though.

Overall, I also thought it wasn't what I hoped for. Aside from "Can't Stand Me" and "Klusterfuk", I didn't particularly like it as a whole so much. I wasn't sure if it was bc he was trying something different with it like he said and with the Mayday beats or if it sounded rushed or what, but it was probably his weakest recent release. I thought Seepage was his best EP though. I liked Lost Scripts and especially "Pain Killer", which is beautiful, but I still think Seepage, as a whole, is my favorite EP my far.

Who are you, Greg's mom?

I honestly think you all need to stop complaining about Tech rushing his work. You should be lucky he doesn't quit and not provide anything at all. I love Techs music no matter what. Tech is a beast and always will be. If he wanted to take time and produce 1 album in 2 years he could but I think he's trying to do alot more than just publish his music quicker. But thats my opinion, he does wonderful and if you dont like it, well like he says on Harvey Dent..."if you dont like the newer shit then go buy my older shit"....so simple bro. Just respect that he has something to give you. Btw, its a million times better than what you hear on the radio. Cant deny that. No matter how rushed it is, it'll still sound way better than a Nicki or Drake song.

I'd prefer Tech quit if he's not going to put time and effort into his music. That said, I'm glad he's pushing his album back, instead of rushing it. But there's enough talent on Strange and outside of Strange that I wouldn't be upset if he retired. He's provided so many gems for us, he's proved himself as a legend in my eyes, he could quit today, or after this new album. I'd rather he don't tarnish his legacy with lackluster music. 'N as many have said, just let us voice our opinion, it's a forum, the whole point is to discuss shit. It is a million times better than what's on the radio, but that doesn't make it great by default. Tech is held to higher standards by most of us. But if you see the matter differently, cool, that's your opinion, but please don't tell me to stop voicing my opinion because they're negative sometimes, or do, I guess it doesn't matter, that's just your opinion.

Accepted with much respect. I understand where your coming from. And respect likewise. it is just an opinion. but your absolutely right. I just think, in order for you to grow and switch the mainstream fans to real music. and everybody has to change and myabe this is just a phase he's going through. Who knows but its just an opinion. but like i said, you have a fine point across the boards.

Yeah, I just think there's ways to do it, I think A6A7 was a good example of Tech going for a more quote-unquote mainstream sound without sacrificing his own sound. Like he said, bringing other artists into Strangeland, and I think he did it well. I liked the styles on WTS and A6A7, he's expanding his sound, I just don't think he did it as successfully (or successful at all) on his last two EPs, even though there were good songs on each, where as his last two albums were successful attempts imo. But he's been rushed on the EPs and they're only EPs, granted he should still put effort into it so it's worth the money, Klusterfuk was definitely more solid of a project than EBAH to me. Even though I don't listen to it regularly I can still usually listen to most of it all the way through with the exception of DKNY, whereas EBAH I listen to the first two tracks and the last one, and skip everything in between.
