It's pretty obvious to new and old Tech fans that Krizz shows up in a giant-ass handful of Tech's songs. At this point do you think Krizz has been in Tech's songs long enough to be a major important part in his music? Do you think Tech's music would be THAT different if it stopped?

Don't get me wrong, I think Tech can kill any and every song he writes singled handed, but I wanna know what you guys think as far as the sound of his music goes (hooks, choruses, etc..)

And I'm not sayin he should have less Krizz or have more Krizz or anything like that. So if you plan on spreading your hate and dumbass ignorance on this topic, allow me to redirect you somewhere where you will be a little more useful: http://www.lilwaynehq.com/forums/.

If you don't like the new post, go read the old posts.

Thats wut he kinda did on Gates mixplate.. Yes it did have a couple kali hooks, but there were probably more with other people like stevie stone and irv on em... I approve... But I would like 2 see them do another album with alot of kaliko hooks in the future... or I'll just get the shock treatment album and be set with that

i agree with ice cold. Kali is def important. e merges with Tech's music really well, but i do think Tech should have some more diversity with hooks
Don't get me wrong Kaliko is great but I do think he's on to many hooks. I personally would like to see Tech do an album, with just Tech, have him do everything, now that may be boring or lacking to some people because there would be no features but personally I just want a full album with just Tech spitting. Let me ask you this, when you buy a Tech album, do you buy it so you can hear Kaliko on the some great hooks, or hear some great features from Irv, Stone, ect? Most people will say no, I bought it so I can hear Tech spit. Do features make albums more appealing to the audience? Hell yeah. When you see big names or just names you recognize on album it makes you want to hear the album even more, most of the time, but like I said I just want one completely solo project. It's not a matter of if Tech can do it or not, he has the talent to do that type of album, he doesn't "NEED" Kali to be on the hooks but it works out good. This is all just my opinion. I apologize if I went off topic a little bit, to answer your question simply, I don't think it would be that different if Kali just stopped being on the hooks. I look for great lyrics, that's what I'm about, it's what appeals to me and Tech can deliver that.
I agree, I buy Tech albums to hear Tech spit good verses. But Kaliko is a singer, and sometimes you need someone to sing a hook. I can't sing for shit, but I sure as shit know how to lay down sixteen. If I feel a hook needs to be sung, then I'll find someone who can sing it. And honestly, we will probably never ever hear a Tech album without Kaliko. They write together, they have one brain when they write their music.

Though it's usually always Kaliko on the hooks, I think he, as one man, brings more diversity than a handful of mainstream artists. He raps and sings better than almost anybody doin' it big right now. Drake? Fuck outta here. T-Pain? Fuck outta here. Chris Brown? Fuck outta here. Dream? Fuck outta here.

It's not that he's bein a dick... That thread was posted literally like 2 days ago so he's probably just annoyed u have a valid question cuz if u listen to techs old shit and his shit since Kali joined sounds a bit different but not a whole lot. And keep in mind that every artist grows and matures and with that the music changes. Look at nelly his first couple albums were dope now they just filled with radio songs. Same with Luda but not as bad as nelly, Lucas first 4 albums went hard as fuck n now he talkin bout different shot n it's different style. So u have a good question but IMO I don't think it would matter, but I don't wanna think about strange without Kali kalis the shit

Thanks for the input bro. Glad to see you taking time out of your schedule to be a fucking asshole. I can do that too watch! I'm here to discuss the fucking music, not to join your fucking popularity contest. People like you are the reason I used to read and not post. Looks like only the cool kids can post here. If I commented on an old post no one would even go an read it and I would get nothing out of it.

"I don't have anything to do but be an unconstructive dick to people looking to actually talk about the music. Why can't we talk about the search bar more? I'm going to use it just to show this guy that I know how to use it. I'm just gonna post comments about the posts themselves, I don't care what they're about. I'm just gonna keep being a dick until everyone on TRTN loves me and adds me as a friend."

I can be a dick too. There goes your claim to fame.

Your real good at talking shit online. Get your fucking head right.
