Yeah it's not a project that should be fucked around with in the least because the anticipation is so high. Amafrican Psycho has become Tech N9ne's Detox album if you will. I've been patiently waiting for K.A.B.O.S.H. to get it together to put out a classic gem and I will continue to. What I was getting at is pretty much how "God Of War" is a solid song, yet could be better in alot of aspects. I can respect it.

Yeah, i get what your saying NOW...but i don't think this song even met up to Tech N9nes personal standards hence the reason the Track is by Dirty Wormz Featuring Kabosh. I don't think Tech N9ne really wanted to release it in the first place.  I bet you he has some high fucking standards for his Kabosh LP hence the reason its taking him so long to even start it.

Well in the sense that they've had that entire time to fix it up to par before it was released, hence "in production". Lol get what I'm saying?

Chief said:

It hasn't been in production for a long time...If I'm not mistaken it was recorded shortly after little pills.  It had just never been released and Smackola requested to release it with his album.

I'm not about to complain about this song as I've been waiting for Amafrican Psycho since it was announced around the Everready: The Religion era, plus it turned out ill. I wasn't disappointed with this single but I do feel as if it could have been alot more epic if you will considering how long it's been in production as well as the fact that it's the first official K.A.B.O.S.H. release. Regardless, "God Of War" is still satisfying and this definitely boosted some moral for the Strange camp's fans without question as far as I can see.

exactly how I feel

If this is what KABOSH ends up like, I'll be pissed.

Amerikilla has a point.  I still think that Krizz Kaliko holds the success key for Kabosh, not to say Tech N9ne can't do good rock vocals but i think we can all agree that hands down Krizz Kaliko is great at it. Look at Little Pills for Example Krizz does 2 Verse's the Bridges and the Hook Tech N9ne Kills one solid verse and you have a damn near PERFECT hard rock track.  Whatever they end up doing i know it will be great.  No question about that.  The point i was getting at is Krizz Kaliko should be pushing hard to get Kabosh moving forward, it would be his time to outshine the Tech, Tech, Tech, Tech N9NE!! You know what i mean?

This is all true, but with that said, I still think Kaliko should be the primary vocalist. I think Tech is more likely to end up being the "nigga screaming over guitars" as he said he didn't want it to be. Tech can do it, it's just gonna take time, and we've already waited soooooo long lol.

I disagree here. I think it should be more towards 50/50 .  I've always said that Tech would be an amazing rock vocalist.  You hear the dudes growl type vocals?  Chorus in Retrogression.  Chorus in Show Me A God.  Last 8 bars in the verses in Blacken The Sun.  Even the STRANGE in the Strange Music tag.  I could go on but you get the point.  But Tech's always had amazing potential to be a metal vocalist.  Mix that with his hardcore flow/delivery and lyrics and KALI?  That is KABOSH.

And I thought this track was dope but nothing special.  I thought Smackola brought it down and the lyrics in the chorus were corny for a hard rock song.  Good concept though.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying, Little Pills is a great example, Krizz lead the song and Tech did great. I'd like to see more of that, I don't mind Tech leading the song, but it'd have to be like Retrogression or something, I know he can do it, but to be completely honest, I just have more faith in Kaliko and his vocal talent. It's not so much that I doubt Tech so much as I know that Kali will almost always deliver, Tech just rapping on this was like "ehh" I was expecting so much more, but Kaliko's performance saved it for me. On the other hand, shit like DKNY (though it wasn't KABOSH) was god awful on both their parts. So they can both fail at the rock shit. Idk, I wouldn't mind it being 50/50 or 70/30 Kaliko. Either way, as long as they deliver completely and don't just scream and rap over guitars.

If he wanted to keep it strictly rock i don't see why he would choose dirty wormz, all they are is rock/rap.

King Rasta said:

The production/instrumentation itself is actually pretty good in terms of having a rock sound rather than a rap/rock sound. Smackola however, needs to have absolutely nothing to do with Kabosh. Sorry n' shit. Tech wants to keep this as strictly "rock" as possible, so I think Tech is the only rapper needed in the project considering Kaliko can flex with the singing (which he did in this song.) I can see why Tech is probably not promoting this as having anything to do with Kabosh. I want Tech and Kaliko to be in control of this project, with no artistic influence or participation by Smackola.

Krizz Kaliko!! You Really are a genius my dude!!!

Just listened. Only had krizz kaliko on the hook. Big mistake.

Word!

The day that Kabosh drops will be a damn EPIC day. I hope we never catch wind of when he wants to drop it, i hope he doesn't release any singles and just hits us one day. Man could you imagine the epicness?

DIRTY WORMZ suck as musicians :(
Bad riffs = bad songs

I want Tech to find a decent band!

Deftones would be a good choice.
