While it's REAL good I found there was a lot of slow songs and he didn't really mix it up as much as he did on Tales From The Sick

but definately worth the purchase and will be listening to it a LOT more

Anyone else heard the full album yet?

(and while the urge to post about how much you don't like Prozak is tempting it's not needed)

Cause his delivery sucks...lyrically good, sonically boring...

"...what if this was your last song/and if it was, then what would you say/I close my eyes, but it won't go away/am I a passenger aboard this life/or am I just a stowaway/sometimes I feel my soul's a throw-away/inside so cold & grey/just hope that I can cope and don't explode today/surrounded by these broken shards from the past/I sit & try to analyze these racing thoughts as they pass/friends turn into foes/and foes turn into friends/it makes you wonderful/what purpose we serve all in the end/we're falling & thus continues the cycle of our humanity/so hard to watch our dreams just dissipate into reality/so this goes out to those who feel like me/and refuse to walk the beaten path/to fight for their own destiny"

[1st verse of Alien...and as Ice Cold said, listening to Prozak isn't something everyone will feel but I guess I never will know why that exactly is......????....??....]

Back on topic... I can understand if people dont like Prozak because of his style because musical tastes are subjective. However, at least in me, his lyrical content is extremely emotional. I dont care if he doesnt have as many flows or a somewhat monotonous tone. I look for music that elicits an emotional response and there are few, if any, who do it as well as Prozak. If you have difficulty getting into him, instead of bumping his music in you car, put on some headphones, turn everything off, close your eyes, and just listen to what is said. If you dont feel what is said, your loss. I can feel his pain, his anger, and his sadness. If you cant, sorry n shit. Your loss.

I'm all about the meaning and themes behind lyrics. I'm a sucker for more "emotional" stuff, stuff that really hits your heart. But I just can't fucking get over his voice. I bought Project Deadman, only to like a couple of songs. I bought Tales From The Sick, only to like a couple of songs. I just can't buy this album. I think Prozak is an extremely intelligent and creative dude, but I just don't dig it enough to spend 10 dollars for 3-5 repeatable tracks.

The fact Lynch basically pioneered the 'dark scary shit' entitles him to do whatever the fuck he wants with that style. you can't he's doing that for a specific audience when he himself was 1 of the inventors of it

Lyrically I like Proak when he isn't on a dark kick, but most of the beats he raps over are complete trash. And his flow suffers terribly because of it. People are talking shit on his slow beats but those are 10x better than the shitty rock beats. IMO the album sounds like one bad song up to 'Until Then', but after that point the rest is listenable.

It's a shame he makes music for a terrible audience. Both BLH and Prozak waste their potential away staying on that underground scary dark shit. Oh well, less money I have to spend.

any of you purchase the itunes version of paranormal? Mind uploading your digital Booklet for me? Please

I completely agree with the last few posters who said that Prozak has solid lyrics, but his delivery leaves something to be desired. It is his voice more than anything that turns me off.

That being said, even though Prozak is one of my least favorite Strange artists, I am pretty happy with the disc so far. I have no real complaints yet. Im trying to bump Tales From the Sick and Paranormal back to back.

This 100%...For me the album content was just as good as TFTS, but the track sequencing was terrible. TFTS felt much more organized with rap tracks in the beginning, rock in the middle & then finishing with rap. Listening to Paranormal was like listening to a Prozak iPod shuffle. And if Perception Deception is the best Mike E Clark can do with Prozak nowadays, then count me out on the next Project Deadman album (if it ever happens) This album probably not gonna get any of the Prozak haters to change their mind, but I think there's a couple tracks that might..

i listened to it and yeah it's worth a purchase. way different than Tales From The Sick, but I still enjoyed it. i think the calmer tracks were an interesting development in Prozak's music, and i personally enjoyed them.

some bad hooks like Wake Up/You're Dead, Line In The Middle and End Of Us and the bridge or w/e on Perception Deception are my only real objections to the album

Not the biggest Prozak fan, just not my style.

I really liked Tales from the Sick though, bunch of dope bangers on there...

But Paranormal to me = meh...

Seems like he tried too hard to be all emotional and personal to attract fans or whatever...Too many slow rap tracks and too many rock tracks...I don't really like Prozak's rock songs...

I like Tales from the Sick much better than Paranormal.

saw him on tour thought his act with the dudes in hoodies were wack as fuck. even could of meet him and got his autograph as i was walkin out as he was right next to him didnt say shit to the guy. wish him the best of luck but hes my least fav rapper on strange.
